yeah,, i mean it was in various forms.. but we had hope.... Tim worley.. bubby,, Louis lipps... Brian Hinkle... I mean Banasak had a bunch of oil change locations too. It wasnt till around 87 when the browns had bernie,, i lost a lot of hope..... But the fumbled it all away and then i didnt give a ****.
 
I could be wrong so help me out.
If memory serves, the Steelers have 3 offensive TD’s in their first 4 games. Am I right?

I have been saying this for years. Question? In history since the AFL - NFL merger has any head coach gone six year in a row without winning a playoff game? Tomlin is gunning for the record.
 
I’m With Rocky here boys. I’ve been saying it for years, we’re never going to another SB with Tomlin.
Look at his record from the 2011 season until 2023.
Three playoff wins and some terrible playoff losses. Plenty of loses to lesser teams, poor coordinators both offensively and defensively that he hired, poor hires of position coaches, plenty of slow starts. But we haven’t had a losing season under him which seems to be enough for Rooney,
I’ve just never been sold on Tomlin. He wasn’t qualified to even get this job back in 2007. One year as a DC in Minnesota where his defense ranked near the bottom of the league. Total bs hire. Now look where we are!

You are wrong! Art Rooney II needs to make the change before the start of next season. Fire Tomlin and no NFL team will take Canada.

I jumped off the Tomlin train sometime before the SB against the Packers. I knew we wouldn't win that game. He can't plan a scheme worth a donkey poop.

They have to play better to rise to the level of mediocre
 
Austin has not had a good track record, but not going to blame him for the D. The D has Tomlin's finger prints all over it. It was the same crap w/ Butler and I think Tomlin "nudged" LeBeau out of the way. The offense who knows?! I am more inclined to say the offense falls mostly on Canada because the jet sweeps, passes behind the line, and not using the middle of the field did not happen before he was OC that I recall. The shotgun on short yardage was long before canada though, but we normally tried a delayed draw up the middle that went nowhere.

I’ve been saying this for awhile now. Rooney knows the Steelers brand is established. They sell merchandise, tickets etc regardless of their record. The ones who suffer are the die hard fans who have followed this team from a young age.


Rooney caters to the casual fan now.
 
The defense was **** today. That is clear. But in grand scheme they are not problem. This is not very hard to see. You take the all 22. Then you go....ok Kenny was late there. Ball has to go out. That guy missed his block assignment. But that is everyone basically doing job and nothing there. Total that up over the past 20 some games.
