I fear that they do. The problem is that what they want won't win championships. It's trash.the franchise doesn't have a firm vision of what it wants to be schematically

Not even close, he's 20th in the NFL is rushing, 31st in rushing TD'sMaybe Warren, but he won't get votes.
Because other teams know he's our legit weapon. The real problem is that He fights like two dogs, in a scheme that has no hope. In a good to great scheme, he is amazing. This would be true because we have a good enough qb, receivers, etc. In this scheme, we have trash. He tries hard. The odds are against him.Not even close, he's 20th in the NFL is rushing, 31st in rushing TD's
Not disagreeing there, there's a few players on this team you could say that about. Watt has lost a step maybe, but put him with a legit DC and his numbers are alot better, look at Pickens not so good here, but then look at Smith, 88 catches last year in Miami, now look here. Just another bad look for the head coach.Because other teams know he's our legit weapon. The real problem is that He fights like two dogs, in a scheme that has no hope. I don't believe he's playing to that level, even on a ****** team with a ****** scheme. Boz and Killebrew may be the only two on that dreadful team who get nominations.Maybe Warren, but he won't get votes.

Agreed TJ cannot be as shot as he looks but it was startling when he passed JJ for career sacks. I thought to myself "JJ fell of the cliff pretty fast and was likely shot long before his final sack."Not disagreeing there, there's a few players on this team you could say that about. People keep saying he's paid 40 million he should beat double teams, like he's been beating double teams his entire career, that's not true, teams really started dedicating two guys to him about midway through last year, you watch his highlights from 2024 and the first half of the season he was rarely doubled, he was beating 1 guy. Teams have been putting 2 guys on him almost every play since then, sometimes a 3rd and they can do that because we do nothing to force teams out of that, blitz from the other side were there's an obvious numbers advantage. Harrison was rarely doubled because teams had no clue when and where the blitz was coming from so they couldn't just assign two guys to him. I watched the game where Garrett had 4 sacks, not one of those sacks was he doubled.Agreed TJ cannot be as shot as he looks but it was startling when he passed JJ for career sacks. I bet TJ could be a pro bowler on the right Defense.
Instead of the laughing stock 20 year old system Tomlin trots out. The system Edelman and others have publicly mocked for being old and easy to beat on his podcast.
With little pushback from players fans or media.
No you weren't, you were hoping to see, "it really isn't creepy for drunken old guys to go into the women's restrooms"I opened this expecting to see, "it really was bens fault".
They both also have won a playoff game more recently than we have.I sincerely cannot think of one player that deserves a pro bowl this year. Zach Frazier maybe but it’s hard to gauge how he compares against other centers in the AFC.
here is how dire our situation is, the Cincinnati Bengals and Cleveland Browns have more legit pro bowlers this season than we do
Company man Cam. Yet another case of him being a Tomlin flunky.Cam Heyward is coming across as a little b!tch, whining to the media and taking personal fouls in game about a QB doing something to him. That's where we are now, our leader on defense is whining about a QB being to rough, come on. Imagine Lambert, Mean Joe, Porter, Harrison, etc. whining to the media about a QB
Not a fan of him dropping into coverage. It's sad to see Watt dominated by a TE in running plays
i wasnt old back then!No you weren't, you were hoping to see, "it really isn't creepy for drunken old guys to go into the women's restrooms"
They move him once or twice every other week. But there are other ways they could help him out, and one of those ways is NOT having only 2 DL on the field. Tony Romo brought it up several times during the Bills game, they had 4 and sometimes 6 hands make sure they made contact with Watt to ensure he was not going to wreck the game. And they could easily do that AND chip Herbig and Highsmith on the other side because they only have to worry about TWO ******* DEFENSIVE LINEMEN...JJ had a couple of serious injuries that started his downward spiral. He was still not bad in the end. He just wasn't one of the best to ever play anymore. Hopefully, TJ figures things out. He said he was open to moving around on the line, but that really hasn't happened. Whether he isn't very good when moving around, or Tomlin won't let him move around. I definitely saw the Jills have 2 OL hitting Watt on multiple plays. He almost always has at least 2 guys touching him on every play. When he is 1-on-1, he needs to win the majority of the time.
perhaps the check writers were swayed by the coaching staff......it feels like if this had happened under Cowher, there would have been no negotiation.Understood.
However, if that is truly the case, why would the organization pony up and meet his demands for a new contract?
If I was an owner and a veteran player well passed his prime wanted to renegotiate the millions I’ve already paid him that he’s under contract for, I would certainly take excellent leadership on the field and in the locker room under consideration before I wrote a check.
29 times in one gameIt's sad to see Watt dominated by a TE in running plays
Yeah, lately Watt is rarely mentioned on the broadcast except for the occasional tackle.
His output has seriously declined when the defense need it most.
