With the election of our first Black President, we were supposed to see a great growth and transformation in our country. We were supposed to move toward greater equality and acceptance of all cultures within our borders. The election of our first ever "minority President" was supposed to be a great moment in American history that began the healing process and moved us forward as a country.
Flash forward 8 years, and we have a country nearly as torn apart by race controversy as it was in the 60's. There are riots, killings, mass distrust on both sides of the race barrier. All AFTER the country eagerly elected a Black President, presumably to forward the goals of racial equality and acceptance in this country.
What would have happened if Hillary Clinton had been elected as our first Woman President? Seriously? How much damage could have been done with the kind of mindset the Democratic party is bringing to the table right now and their aggressive liberal policies. I literally get chills wondering how badly gender relations would have eroded in this country under her presidency.
Then we'd have a country torn apart by race AND gender issues.
It makes you wonder just what the heck the real Democratic agenda is right now.
