I know some here don't give a rats *** about individual stats, and some will say "who cares, we suck"... blah blah blah. I just wanted to take a second to point out a few things about some of our stars on offense.
LeVeon Bell is third in the league in rushing (he's behind Foster by 16 yards), and we haven't really given him a ton of carries the past two games. Still, we haven't had a back in the top five in rushing since Willie Parker. He has the highest ypa for any back with over 100 carries at 5.1 (currently 9 backs with over 100 carries, and 5 more within 10 carries). Less than 100 yards separates DeMarco Murray and LeVeon Bell in total yards from scrimmage. Pretty impressive when you consider the pace Murray is on in rushing yards. Bell does it all (already over 900 yards from scrimmage).
Antonio Brown is first in the league in receiving yards, second in the league in receptions (Matt Forte of all people leads the league). Pretty impressive when you consider that we really haven't had a second option step up and take any heat away from Brown. He's doing it week in, week out against the best the other team has to offer, and usually with safety help. Truly one of the best WR in the game today. He's also second in the league in 20+ yard receptions with 12 (Julio Jones has 14). 34 of Browns 50 catches have been for first downs.
Now if we can just get more scoring from the bunch (still think Brown was IN on that TD catch), but this game shows that we CAN score from the redzone, now why we can't do it consistently is the big question.
I think we'll start to see a LOT more of Martavis Bryant from here on out. He had no problems getting behind the coverage, and the more time he can get with Ben, the better the timing will be. He could be a huge asset in opening up the rest of the offense.
