It looks that way. They asked for more time and got it. The USA sends in a welcome fool like John Kerry. Is anyone surprised at this move.

The USA used to negotiate from a positon of strength. Now we can't even call nations or groups that sponsor terrorism what they are, and get owned on negotiations even though we hold the better hands. Meanwhile their leader mocks us on twitter.

The deal which needs to be quietly discuss the leaders of Iran should be this.

1 ) Allow for 24 x 7 inspections, whenever we want with our people on site.

2 ) Destroy all stock piled material that could be used for a nuclear weapons

3 ) All sanctions lifted.

If Iran does not want nukes, this should be a slam dunk.

If Iran says NO, then tell them their sites will be destroyed, and their nation crippled.

In a game of nuclear poker, one should not bluff. Put the cards down face value. Then the other side will know you are serious.

Russia even offered to store their stuff and they still said no.

where's the link?

sounds like bullshit - the talks will go on and on

Officials: Iran nuke talks to continue in new phase

LAUSANNE, Switzerland (AP) — Wrapping up six days of marathon nuclear talks with mixed results, Iran and six world powers prepared Tuesday to issue a general statement agreeing to continue talks in a new phase aimed at reaching a final agreement by the end of June to control Iran's nuclear ambitions, officials told The Associated Press on Tuesday.

Officials had set a deadline of March 31 for a framework agreement, and later softened that wording to a framework understanding, between Iran and the so-called P5+1 nations — the United States, Britain, France, Germany, Russia and China.

And after intense negotiations, obstacles remained on uranium enrichment, where stockpiles of enriched uranium should be stored, limits on Iran's nuclear research and development and the timing and scope of sanctions relief among other issues.

The joint statement is to be accompanied by additional documents that outline more detailed understandings, allowing the sides to claim enough progress has been made thus far to merit a new round, the officials said. Iran has not yet signed off on the documents, one official said, meaning any understanding remains unclear.

Iran was toying with the US, like a cat with a mouse. They were just trying to buy more time, while they developed what is obvious. And now the Saudis want to play on the nuclear ball field.

Well played Barry. Well played.

Time for a sneak attack

Sneak peek into top-of-the-line IDF submarine

03.31.15- German-made INS Tanin, which has been undergoing intensive modification since arriving in Israel, will soon be ready to undertake its secretive, long-range assignment.

According to foreign reports, the newest set of submarines is the strategic arm of the Israeli military, the country's "second strike" force, meant to retaliate against aggressors in the worst case scenario of a nuclear attack.

The technical crews and engineers have been working overtime to assure all systems are synchronized and operating flawlessly on the IDF's most expensive, and secretive, weapon – with a price tag estimated at half a billion dollars

"The Tanin has more advanced equipment, among the best in the world," say naval sources

Iran saw how well our military did against Iraq, so they know they have a strong hand to play.
Particularly when our economy is addicted to oil and WW III would stop the flow feeding our addiction.

Eh, we probably perfected nanotech defusers by now.. im not as worried as their neighbors ought to be. 30 years ago you could sneak a suitcase nuke into this country, nowadays they can even detect that within a few meters in less than an hour even with shielding. I don't know how and that team they always are drilling with across the country borderline scares me, but I have come to the conclusion that the only way a nuke gets into this country or probably any of the larger ones is if that country's govt really wants it there. That doesn't mean psycoIran should be permitted to have them, but Im not as scared as many are...

ha ha

Our military wiped out Iraqi's 'million man army' in a month - get a ******* clue

They know a weak-spined Jew-hating Obama is in the WH - that's why they think they can get a better deal

Yoo hoo we can finally go to war again, bombs away! Let's unleash that Israeli nuclear arsenal! Death, destruction, mayhem! Pump billions into the war budget! Hallelujah!

The wars have never stopped - Obama lied again

I don't think Obama is Anti Semitic per say, but he is very pro Arab for sure. Or maybe he is. But pro Arab for sure.

As stated in another thread, the Republicans need to focus on the Jewish vote. It could swing Florida and make New York very interesting. The Jews are the intellectual's of the left, and have a lot of control with the media.

As stated before, Iran does not need to be a long campaign. Just a demolition job on suspected sites. It would be over in 3-6 months. It takes many months to build these nuclear power plants, and our satellites can see the machinery needed to construct new ones.

Allowing Iran to get nukes upsets the balance of power, and brings us closer to World War III. All 5 security nations...China, Russia, USA, England and France know this. By the way France should be removed from the big 5.

This is what they do. It is what Saddam did also. Delay enough until it's too late. I hope Israel bombs the **** out of them. They sponsor terror groups and will nuke Israel and the U.S. if given the chance. I say take them out no matter the political consequences. Enough of this bullshit song and dance already.

Isreal won't have to - the Saudi's want their own nukes to bomb Iran - how pefrect is that?

As U.S. and Iran Seek Nuclear Deal, Saudi Arabia Makes Its Own Moves

CAIRO — As America talks to Iran, Saudi Arabia is lashing out against it.

The kingdom, Iran’s chief regional rival, is leading airstrikes against an Iranian-backed faction in Yemen; backing a blitz in Idlib, Syria, by jihadists fighting the Iranian-backed Assad regime; and warning Washington not to allow the Iranian-backed militia to capture too much of Iraq during the fight to roll back the Islamic State, according to Arab diplomats familiar with the talks.

Through Egypt, a major beneficiary of Saudi aid, the kingdom is backing plans for a combined Arab military force to combat Iranian influence around the region. With another major aid recipient, Pakistan, Saudi Arabia is also expected to step up its efforts to develop a nuclear bomb, potentially setting off an arms race in the region.

I never understood this deal. We watch Iran destroy mock ups of USA ships, and other **** but let's sit down and have tea and make a pact. Wtf.

Particularly when our economy is addicted to oil and WW III would stop the flow feeding our addiction.

Like Spike said, we dispatched the Iraqi military in short order. The rest of the time was spent trying to keep them from killing each other.

Your oil comment was astute. If the President had approved the Keystone pipeline, maybe we wouldn't be so reliant on ME oil.....and we would be supporting our peaceful neighbor to the north. Makes you wonder which side he is on, doesn't it?

French Officials: Obama Plans To Make Iran His Key Middle East Ally

In a shocking accusation, French diplomats told Foreign Policy that they believe the Obama administration plans to replace Saudi Arabia with Iran as the central U.S. ally in the Middle East.

“Numerous French diplomats suspect that the United States… is on the verge of profoundly reshaping of its traditional alliance system in the Middle East,” reporters Joseph Bahout and Benjamin Haddad write, ”moving [to] a system where Iran replaces Saudi Arabia as the central pillar of regional stability.”

“The nuclear talks, French diplomats suspect, are just one part of a strategic rapprochement with Iran,” the piece continues. “Washington has practically sub-contracted the war against the Islamic State’s forces in Iraq to Iranian special forces and Tehran’s Iraqi militia proxies. The French view this as a potentially counter-productive move, one more part of Washington’s turn away from its Sunni allies and toward Tehran.”

Shouldn't there be some small modicum of trust between countries before they can be considered allies?

It's ok, the Saudis are our friends....they oppose ISIS. Wink wink

France has their own domestic issues with Muslims. They really are not a world power and should keep their mouths shut. IMO, no nation that has 18 different ways to say I surrender should play a hand in serious negations.
