It's Ravens Week Pt II

You know what, my initial thought was, NO WAY. But I'd say meet with him and see where his mind is. If he realizes what he had here, and what he lost, and he seems genuinely contrite after what happened (or what HE DID) in Baltimore, then **** it! Bring him back and give him a chance. He would instantly be an upgrade over what we have (with George out) and would upgrade our entire WR room. If he looks / acts like the same old Dionte, then don't sign him --- what have you lost.

Love to know what he was thinking.... Cost himself $30M

I like the way you think but he burned his bridges here. Does he still have the dog in him? He didn't seem to be getting separation with Panthers. Maybe he saved all his money.

Let's see what happens Monday

No way. That POS is liable to drop balls on purpose. He was done the second he watched and didn't even try against Cincy. We do NOT need this season ruined.

And everyone else was saying that while there was some meaning there, it was very little compared to the Raven game. Thats all

So Baltimore can win 6/16 of these.
They can win 0/16 if we win Saturday

Out of 32 possible outcomes, baltimore has 6 paths to victory.. thats 18%...

2 of those 6 could be avoided had we won in philly.. so again, it didnt mean nothing... but changing 2/32 scenarios isnt much
and sometimes a steenth is a difference maker.

Steelers started this short week as +5.5 dogs. The line is now +7.

That disrespect from bettors should add all the extra motivation needed.

Whether or not they intend to sign him, I would certainly invite him to the sideline today in Ratland. Just let him cruise around before the game.....
I like how yinz think!

I hope Smith is intelligent enough and Tomlin is smart enough to implement a different strategy on O in this game. Without GP, they will stack the box. Smith needs a game plan (something they said last year was not done) to utilize what we do have on O and take it to them. Run, run, pass, punt will not work. Mix things up. If the guys have trouble getting open, call plays that make it easier to get some separation for quick passes from Wilson. Throw a few long passes to Williams and Austin to keep them honest. This can be done without GP but the coaches need to utilize the talent they do have on O and get the most out of the limited WR group. Passes to Muuth, Washington (gone missing from targets the last couple of games - dumb move) and the RB's out of the backfield. We have 2 RB's in Warren and Najee who can catch and make something happen out of the backfield. Eliminate the plays that always have us losing yards. Come on Smith and Tomlin! You can do this! The O will need 30+ in this one.
