Not surprising. Glad we won't be one of those teams in the top picks lamenting if he's worth a 1st round pick. I wouldn't want to touch him with a ten foot pole.

I want him to go top 20.

2x's a better prospect than Mariota, easily.

Reminds me of a young Roethlisberger (in several ways). If he matures, the guy will be a stud.

The Alaska hellcats should fm draft him... I hear they have really good crab legs

heard he was going to play baseball.
the titans will take him

Pardon my ignorance - who or what does the 2x's reference refer to?

Winston is already getting fat, he may balloon up to Jamarcus Russell level of fat, think he lacks the discipline to both stay out of trouble and stay in shape and this is without the NFL millions .

No thank you! You can have him. See Vince Young, RGIII, EJ Manual, Geno Smith, Johnny Football. Great players in college pushed along also by the media hype but don't transition well in the NFL.

I am saying that Jameis is a MUCH better prospect than the guy who only throws screen passes or makes one read (i.e. Mariota)

Reminds me of a young... Vince Young.

How is Jameis anything like Vince Young? Other than the fact that they are both black, of course.

Vince Young was a dual threat QB in college- Winston is not. Hell, Vince shares more in common with Marcus than Jameis.

Back in the beginning of the season when we sucked, I suggested tanking the season for a high draft pick. Anyone remember the "shame us for Jameis" campaign? :D

Landry may feel threatened and start participating more. Why the fluck is landry even on our roster?

Salute the nation

he will be 100 times better than v.young

Scouts have said hes the most NFL-ready of any QBs comin out....they didnt say the same thing about Manziel....they questioned whether he would transition his skills to the big leagues.....They arent sayin the same thing about Jameis...I dont know what he will be yet but he proved he could win consistently goin nearly two years without losing.

Mariota doesnt take snaps under center.....hes gonna have to adjust that part of his game........

I defend Tomlin and Colbert often, and they have done a great job (especially recently).

But I cannot and will not defend their decision to hold on to Landry. Dude is straight *** cheeks, yet is always guaranteed a roster spot.

Winston has so much talent and potential to be a true franchise quarterback, but I just don't know if I can trust him. He is a proven idiot and things have not seemed to have clicked with him yet. I hope they do and he can live up to his potential. As for Marcus Mariota, he seems like a good guy, but I don't trust QBs that come from gimmick offenses.

Uhh...huh??? Vince Young was never a true pocket passer, Jameis has already shown he has the capabilities to excel in a pro-style offense

From what I've seen of him, I'm not impressed.

I was impressed when he shredded PITT as a freshman, in his 1st game. He diced them up like onions. But, Johnny Football costed him millions; he will drop lower than he would have had Johnny not been such a headache. Didn't Johnny just get in ANOTHER bar fight? It is beginning to really get ridiculous.
