Joe Burrow. How good will he be in the NFL?

I am not sure they have the scouts needed to recognize a NFL o-line. Their drafting to date has been pretty miserable in those regards.

Which is why I said they probably won't do it because they are the bungles. If I were Burrow I wouldn't play there. I'd force a trade or tell them if they took me I wouldn't play for them. Why waste your talent on a team that cares nothing about winning? He's better of in Miami or LA than there.

Since it's the Bengals, and teams are going to willing to give up the house to get Burrow, wouldn't be shocked if Cincy traded out of #1 for a huge return.
 
The stuff I've watched him do is what seasoned good NFL quarterbacks do. The throws are on the money. The cool as ice demeanor. He doesn't seem to rattle. Of course that may be a different tune in the NFL and the likes of T.J Watt are coming at you relentlessly.

I think the bungles should draft him and trade him to us for.one of our practice squad guys and our 15th round pick.;) in 2037.

Trevor Lawrence is the QB I'm having a hard time with. The guy has a face you just want to punch but everything on the outside seems prototypical. And he wins. But man, that kid scares me with his demeanor.

He had some passes sail , not that he doesn't have a lot to like. But not as sure with him as Burrow.

Never heard of Burrow before 6 months ago.

He looks like the best QB prospect since Luck...until Lawrence comes out.
 
Burrow already makes NFL throws. The placement on his passes at the college level match what you want to see from your QB in the NFL. Add in his mobility and he's a terrific prospect. However, Cincinnati is one of those teams that can ruin a great prospect.
 
I really like that he doesn't get emotional. he cares about his performance, and even when he's doing well, he wants to do better. That is rare in a prospect.
 
He's no Ben Roethlisberger.

No O-Line, probably the worst defense in the league and AJ Green is probably walking. He may be good, but we won't be good enough to overcome that unless the Bungles do a total overhaul. And I don't think they have the draft capital to do that and we all know Mike Brown is a cheap *******, so he isn't gonna pay anyone. Don't they have like only two scouts or something?

I don't know what you see in Lawrence. He's got size and an arm but needs a lot of work on the NFL level. JMO...

Let me add this.

Burrow is a great college QB. No homerism, but Tua is better. If Tua comes back from injury - he will be the best college QB to enter the league since Peyton Manning.

We shall see...

Really? Burrow just had the best college season ever for a quarterback. If not for a dropped pass and going conservative at the end of the game, he could have had 7 TD passes in both playoff games.
 
Im not a fan of Lawrence, but i think JB will be very good. Some of the throws he made the WR barely had separation and he laid it in their laps. I think that he is better than Tua and i am a Tua fan. Tuas injuries also scare me

Sad to say but I don't think even Cinci can **** his guy up. he will be a good one
