Kendrick green traded for 2025 sixth rounder

Trading Green is like trying to get rid of an old air conditioner. The garbage men won't take it. You put it out on the curb anyway and you look out a few hours later and see that somebody took it.

My dad put out an old toilet, It worked great as I just upgraded him to a new HC type unit.

No one would take it as he put a sign that said FREE on it.

5 days later it was still there.

I told him to put $10.00 on it and he did, wasn’t there the next morning———————

I realize it wasn’t K. Greens fault to the circumstances of him being drafted and such, but I’m glad he was moved and will get a new start elsewhere.

It was never Green’s fault that they drafted and expected him to play a position he wasn’t ready to play.

The texans really need ol help. He will likely play....a lot. If you want to see what he can really do, now you get the chance. Good luck. He may find a home on this newly constructed team.

Ohhh I know what he can do. He can compete with the local hooker to see who spends more time on their back. My money is on Kendrick.

Cons....My Prediction of KG being a FG/G/C who laid people on their "Arse" & being a Fan Favorite just got annihilated.
I‘m a sucker for a good underdog story. I was pulling for him, so I guess I’m actually glad he’ll be getting another chance rather than just being cut.

No lie…When I was in the military years ago a coworker and his wife used to drive their 3 daughters around base housing every week to pick up junk. I’ll never forget, he called it “Thursday night shopping”. Ahhh…the culture shock that was the military.

Always liked Colbert. Hell he was architect of two championships. But honestly you'd get a lot of head scratch moves. Between FA, draft and these trades I don't think there has been anything at least I don't agree with. I felt Dotson was tradeable. But still that could be a high fourth for a low fifth next season. And I wouldn't care if the pick for Green wasn't till 2027. That's definitely cash for trash.

Kendrick Green was drafted because they decided to draft Najee. In order to justify drafting Najee, they had to find a starting OL in Rd 3 so they talked themselves into Kendrick Green being able to start at C as a rookie.
They did NOT have to find a starting OL in R3. They could have taken the best center in the draft in R2 instead of Muth knowing Pouncey had retired.

Well it does get quite hot down in Houston. I suppose they'll take anything that works half ***.

Kahn is crushing it. I know it's 2025 but basically anything. Anything.
Exactly. The fact that he was able to get anything at all for Green shows that he’s freaking awesome.

I am really liking Omar Kahn.
I am not sure how he got a 6th round draft choice for him.
That Rams GM probably thought he did real good getting a 6th round pick for Jerome Bettis too. 😄

Bettis had already shown flashes prior to the trade. I thought it was for a higher pick? Anywho the only thing KG flashed is his arse up in the air with his face down towards a pile of grass and dirt.

Yes but Muth might be a top 5 TE by the end of this season and your centre is an imaginaty player at this point. Leatherwood looked like s sure fire Tackle but he is s full bust at this point. It happens.

Or in round 1 rather than a RB. Humphrey/Freiermuth > Harris/Humphrey IMO.

We're beyond that at this point and getting a future sixth is better than nothing. I do hope Green can get a fresh start and at least stick around as a backup.

Athletic ability is always overvalued in the NFL. Green was a spectacular athlete for his size. He has massive issues on the mental side of the game. He was going to get cut, so getter something for him was a great move.
If you are adept at trading, teams are often willing to take a chance on an athletic specimen type player.

Looking at transaction lists every year, ypu notice low end trades for lots of role players and reclamation projects ….

Colbert was very good to excellent for a long time..

His problem recently was he was meeting and paying more intention to his retirement money manager than his football boss/team...

It happens in all works of life....believe me I know. ;)

I make that comparison too, in the first round. Then look at it as another chance in the second round.

This right here shows the difference between Khan and Colbert as I think KHan would have taken CREED.

I’m nearing that aspect in life as well, BUT no fear as I’ll remain here loyalty to anntagonize everyone.

I still have 3/4 tank petro in the LS10, so I could go somewhere, if need be:::::::::::::::::::::

Creed Humphrey was #2 to Kelce for All Pro at the C position. He would greatly outweigh any benefit we get from having Muth if they grabbed him in R2. This is a guy who touches the ball on every offensive snap. I guess everyone forgets all the ****** snaps Green sailed back to Ben his last year and our QB and run game getting killed.
