KP pre-season vs in season play.

When you live in your fears, then dictate others do not do what you fear, it becomes contagious. KP is being controlled so tightly by Tomlin’s fears, he is being strangled in his development.
Yes and this is where I have hope Pickett can turn it around. They set him up with a bad OC, a bad OL, and a HC who would prefer to not turn the ball over than try to score points. They really need to play to Pickett's strengths the second half of the season and whatever happens happens. They can't worry about trying to finish 9-8 just to be above .500. Play football.

I feel the same way. Just trying to maintain .500 football is getting old. Let it rip and try to win in the 1st QTR. Not the 4th.

Btw, let it rip doesn't mean throw the ball 35 times a game. I just want to see some passes beyond 10 yards and passes over the middle. Basically, more of what he did his senior year in college when he was a lot of fun to watch.

Preseason is now meaningless. Most teams barely play starters at all in preseason. The real work is done in joint practices. The steelers used to have joing practices but haven't in years. They better start because playing your starters vs preseason scrubs accomplishes nothing as we've seen not just with Pickett but in how the OL struggled as well.
