wow, it's true! makes me think that owner mark davis was super-hopeful of making some deals at the deadline, maybe acquiring some juicy picks and whatnot, and both coach and GM were like, "nope, we ain't doing that"....combine that with the utter ineptitude shown by his team's performance over the last year and a half, he was like, "oh yeah? is that so? then you're both fired, have your **** out of my facilities before the sun comes up, motherfuggers" :laugh:

y'know... they need a coach who thinks outside the box. One who gets his players to commit, try new and different things while trimming the playbook away from complicated processes. a guy who has moved up in the ranks and has a plethora of experience in both college and pros.

Yeah real reluctant for them to hire a fired OC from college or the pros. Might be a few exceptions. But I have no confidence in this organization to see those exceptions so please no...

I was in JAX this past weekend. The fans, who still recall David Garrard 4th and 1 vs Steelers in Jags first PO game, all think Tomlin is the greatest coach, and clearly the best asset of the present Steeler team. Modest respect, at best, for Watt.
