LOCK HER UP!

A new inspector general (IG) investigation into the FBI’s conduct leading up the 2016 election is likely to continue after Inauguration Day, whether President-elect Donald Trump wants it or not.

Although the inspector general himself, Michael E. Horowitz, is a political appointee, everyone beneath him is a career official.

Trump could remove Horowitz, but lawmakers from both sides of the aisle say it’s unlikely that he would be able to halt the investigation.

The president “cannot shut down a probe, that’s the whole point of the IG,” House Intelligence Committee chair Devin Nunes (R-Calif.) said. “They’re supposed to be independent.”

Clinton email probe to continue 'full throttle'

Hillary Clinton's defeat in the 2016 presidential election won't halt House Republicans' probe of her private email server, an investigation that could bring "a lot of other characters" into congressional crosshairs, according to the top GOP investigator

This was never a political targeting in the beginning and just because there was a political election doesn't mean it goes away," House Oversight and Government Reform Chairman Jason Chaffetz, R-Utah, told reporters Monday. "There were a lot of other characters that were involved in this that we have to look at."

"This was potentially one of the largest breaches of security in the history of the State Department," he said. "It cannot and should never be repeated again. How is it that so much information was able to migrate out into the world? These are still open questions that we need to finish up so that they don't happen again."

Is that the same IG who will be (along with the justice dept.)investigating the FBI director and his help in swaying the election?

Why I believe IT IS!

Bwahahahahahahaha!

And even more fun after that when the probe into Michael Flynn's conversation with the Russian ambassador on the day Obama announced sanctions against the Russsians begins.

You know the " Don't worry you scratched our backs we'll scratch yours as soon as the illegitimate in chief takes office "conversation.

Bwahahahahaha!

Grab your popcorn ,watching Trump implode is going to be well worth the price of admission.

Elfiero - let them keep thinking the FBI investigation is investigating Clinton - and not Trump and the FBI itself. lol

The only thing that we see imploding, at this point, is the Democratic party. Do the Dems have any electable candidates besides the dog catcher?
