Let the Mocks begin.......

I agree the defensive one is a bit more clear in terms of value, though I'm not sure a run stopping IDL in the first is the way to go unless they believe Grant has plus upside as a pass rusher. Frazier is a really good pick at 156.

Defense
21. Walter Nolen, IDL, Ole Miss (I would've gone Harmon if available)
83. Lathan Ransom, S, Ohio State
123. Jordan Phillips, IDL, Maryland
156. Tommy Hill, CB, Nebraska
185. Cody Lindenberg, LB, Minnesota
229. Barryn Sorrell, EDGE, Texas
I wanted to hit every level of the defense and I think I accomplished that while focusing on athletic upside with the last three draft picks along with diversifying the positions I selected on the defensive line.

Offense
21. Matthew Golden, WR, Texas
83. Dylan Fairchild, G, Georgia
123. RJ Harvey, RB, UCF
156. Kyle, McCord, QB, Syracuse
185. Luke Lachey, TE, Iowa
229. Caleb Rogers, OL, Texas Tech
Golden was a home run in the first round. After this, it was trying to find the best value at getting a RB, QB, and building OL depth.
I think Grant has pass rushing upside, huge upside AND he can come in and IMMEDIATELY help our poor run D. Harmon and Nolan were both there, but I really like Grant the most.

Mock the mock, 5 rounder, this is a tough one and might as well fall like that

https://www.nfl.com/news/five-round-2025-nfl-mock-draft-round-4

1. Nolen DT choose your favorite between him, Harmon and grant

3. Royals WR I don't know how will it work with dk, GP, ca3, Wilson and skowronek (ST) but he was too much talent to pass on

4. Tutten RB, we need one

5. Brown OT, swing tackle to develop, high ceiling with monster size.

I kind of like how thing shook out going with Jahdae Barron in the first round. I'm confident that we would all absolutely love Barron.

The other question I have with Grant is how many snaps will he get? They'll still need to find a Cam replacement as some point as well.

Same question I keep coming back to when weighing is a first round NT a luxury since Mikey might only give him 10-15 snaps a game

DE, CB, QB or Edge all seem to be better plays with a first if one factors in Mike ain’t smart enough to realize the D needs a true Nose.

And Edge only makes sense if the right guy falls and the team is wise enough to move on from Watt (which they aren’t likely to)

There’s definitely some good flyers later on 3-4 DEs with guys like Pegues, Ingram-Dawkins, Hemingway. I’ve been liking West as a mid round NT should we go QB or CB in the 1st.

It’s good to have a deep DL and edge class with Weidl setting the board. Plenty of solid players will be available day 3.

641

That is the number of snaps Benton played. And since they play him out of position at NT, you could expect Grant would take those snaps and push Benton outside where he belongs. Where he might be able to take over for Cam.

And if he shows equal to or greater than potential early he could very well be exceed that.

The fact is that run D was atrocious, embarrassing, and inept all rolled into one ball of suck. Grant would roadblock that rolling ball of suck. Clearly one of the biggest weaknesses. I wouldn’t let the ponder of a snap count tally stand in the way of fixing that eye sore.

Traded down a couple times to recoup picks. If they really want to draft Milroe, I hope this is the type of approach they take. Trading back allowed me to add significant talent while taking the swing on the high potential qb.

If you think computers/AI are smarter than a 5th grader I want to know who's running Google's Meta AI division???

This is cra-cra!!!

No spoiler alerts but no way we make the pick that Meta predicted in this mock...
With AI, the prompting is a key element. Here is what perplexity AI provided. I noticed that the draft order was incorrect and I asked if trades were assumed in the output and it confirmed that yes, trades were made. So, here it is.

1. Tennessee Titans - Cam Ward, QB, Miami

The Titans address their most pressing need at quarterback with Ward, a dynamic passer who can lead their rebuild.

2. Cleveland Browns - Armand Membou, OT, Missouri

With a need to protect Kenny Pickett and improve their offensive line, Membou is a high-upside tackle who fits their scheme.

3. New York Giants - Abdul Carter, EDGE, Penn State

Carter’s elite pass-rushing ability fills a major need for the Giants’ defense and provides an immediate impact player.

4. Arizona Cardinals - Travis Hunter, CB/WR, Colorado

Hunter’s versatility as a cornerback or wide receiver gives Arizona flexibility to address multiple positions of need.

5. Denver Broncos - Tetairoa McMillan, WR, Arizona

With Courtland Sutton’s contract expiring soon, McMillan adds length and athleticism to Denver's receiving corps.

6. Los Angeles Rams - Mason Graham, DT, Michigan

The Rams bolster their defensive line with Graham, a disruptive interior force who can replace Aaron Donald long-term.

7. Green Bay Packers - Ashton Jeanty, RB, Boise State

Jeanty’s explosiveness rejuvenates Green Bay’s backfield while addressing their need for offensive playmakers.

8. Washington Commanders - Tyler Warren, TE, Penn State

Warren provides Washington with a versatile tight end who can dominate as both a blocker and receiver.

9. Tampa Bay Buccaneers - Jalon Walker, EDGE, Georgia

Walker adds much-needed pass-rushing ability to Tampa Bay’s defense in transition.

10. Atlanta Falcons - Mykel Williams, EDGE, Georgia

Atlanta addresses its long-standing pass-rush woes with Williams’ size and athleticism.

Picks 11–20

11. Chicago Bears - Will Campbell, OT, LSU

Campbell solidifies the offensive line to protect Caleb Williams and improve the Bears' run game.

12. Minnesota Vikings - Malaki Starks, S, Georgia

Starks enhances Minnesota's secondary with his range and ball skills.

13. New England Patriots - Rome Odunze, WR, Washington

Odunze provides Drake Maye with a reliable target to elevate New England’s passing attack.

14. Seattle Seahawks - Kelvin Banks Jr., OT, Texas

Banks strengthens Seattle’s offensive line and helps protect Geno Smith.

15. Cleveland Browns (via trade) - Keon Coleman, WR, Florida State

Coleman adds size and playmaking ability to Cleveland’s receiving corps.

16. Jacksonville Jaguars - Walter Nolen, DL, Mississippi

Nolen reinforces Jacksonville’s defensive front with his power and quickness.

17. Pittsburgh Steelers - Jahdae Barron, CB, Texas

Barron is a versatile cornerback who addresses Pittsburgh’s secondary needs effectively.

18. Miami Dolphins - Colston Loveland, TE, Michigan

Loveland gives Miami a dynamic tight end to complement their offensive weapons.

19. Detroit Lions - Nick Emmanwori, S, South Carolina

Emmanwori bolsters Detroit’s secondary with physicality and coverage ability.

20. Los Angeles Chargers - Matthew Golden, WR, Texas

Golden improves the Chargers’ receiving corps with polished route-running skills for Justin Herbert.

Picks 21–32

21. Baltimore Ravens - Tyler Booker, OG, Alabama

Booker strengthens Baltimore’s interior offensive line for both run blocking and pass protection.

22. Dallas Cowboys - Josh Conerly Jr., OT

Conerly provides Dallas with depth at tackle while addressing their aging offensive line.

23. Buffalo Bills - Derrick Harmon (DT), Oregon

Harmon adds rotational depth on Buffalo's defensive front to complement Ed Oliver.

24. Kansas City Chiefs - Luther Burden III (WR), Missouri

Burden gives Patrick Mahomes another explosive weapon in the passing game.

25. Philadelphia Eagles - Nic Scourton (EDGE), Texas A&M

Scourton strengthens Philadelphia's pass rush opposite Haason Reddick.

26. San Francisco 49ers - Aireontae Ersery (OT), Minnesota

Ersery provides San Francisco with an heir apparent to Trent Williams at left tackle.

27. Carolina Panthers - Trey Amos (CB), Mississippi

Amos upgrades Carolina's secondary with his breakout potential as a lockdown cornerback.

28. Las Vegas Raiders - Shedeur Sanders (QB), Colorado

Sanders offers Las Vegas a developmental quarterback option behind Geno Smith.

29. New Orleans Saints - Darien Porter (CB), Iowa State

Porter improves New Orleans’ secondary depth with his athletic upside as a converted cornerback.

30. Houston Texans (via trade) - Elic Ayomanor (WR), Stanford

Ayomanor gives Houston another weapon for C.J. Stroud in the passing game.

31. Arizona Cardinals (via trade) - Donovan Ezeiruaku (EDGE), Boston College

Ezeiruaku adds depth to Arizona's pass rush alongside Abdul Carter.

32. Denver Broncos (via trade) - Xavier Watts (S), Notre Dame

Watts shores up Denver's secondary with his versatility as both a coverage safety and run defender.

A trade with the Ravens in the first? HAHAHAHAHAHA, AI isn't very smart.
It also doesn’t have a pulse on what the post free agency needs are. Picking up two corners in free agency, no way the team goes cornerback in 1. Let alone a rat trade up.

Try this one on for size...I don't think it's AI either, making it worse.

My picks would be:
1. Shedeur Sanders, QB (This might not be the popular pick on the board, but if he slid this far, I'm gonna grab him)
3. TJ Sanders, DT
4. Jaydon Blue, RB (tempted to go with Bond on sheer value, but Blue has elite speed at RB)
5. Jalen Travis, OT/ Ajani Cornelius, OT (either one would set us up nicely if either of our starters go down or fail)
6. Luke Kandra, OG (stick with the trenches)
7. Cam Jackson, DT (it's a good pick, just can't be the ONLY DT taken)
