Let the Mocks begin.......

From reading the tea leaves, I am getting the feeling Omar will select Sanders in the first round (possibly trading back with Houston, Buffalo or Kansas City - not my most favorite outcome) and then make a move up for either Harmon or Alexander in the second. Harmon would be my bet. Then take best RB available on their board at 83.

Not sure they would trade down if they wanted Sanders. I could see a trade down then draft another QB later…

IMO they would stand pat if Sanders was their desire.

Depends on how toxic Sanders appears to other teams and how fixated the Steelers' brass are on him. The Steelers front office seems to love a wounded duck at this time of year. There appear to be plenty to feast on. If they lose out on Sanders in the first and Dart has also disappeared, it will be on to Will Howard in the third and best Defensive Lineman in the first (with some additional draft capital to spend depending on where their next potential wounded duck falls on their board). I would move back in the first round of this draft (if a potential dance partner emerges), unless Jeanty is on the board at 21. The Steelers have lots of holes to fill and many above average players to choose from between picks 10 and 50 (many of whom are ranked in the same bucket - it just depends what position you are shopping for DT, RB, WR, DB, or OL). Trading back makes sense, if anyone is willing to move up.

I'm gonna puke if they take any QB this draft. I personally would be trading for picks in 26 draft and pick an actual true franchise possible QB. unless someone feel to the third this year. Sanders will more than likely only amount to a backup in the nfl. another wasted first round pick..

need to know who has extra 2nd rd picks who might want to trade #1 spots with us
Bears has two extra 2nd rounders but not sure that they would be open to business. Of course Seattle but they are rebuilding. I would say a slim chance with the Bears… that is all.
