Loved how you doubled up on the Steelers weakest positions at DL, CB, and WR. If I had to tweak anything it might be exchanging a G for a T. But perhaps the value wasn’t there. I think they really like Gordon he could very well be a name we hear …

The value at that spot wasn't there for a tackle, but I think we're gonna be just as thin at guard if they don't bring back Daniels. McCormick, Seumalo, Scharping (who?), and Herbig is all we got. As well as McCormick played, Seumalo and him as the starters and not much else. The BIGGEST question we have at tackle, is can Fautanu stay healthy? Hopefully they'll have somewhat of an answer by the time the draft rolls around. Could easily tweak their draft strategy.

I think they should bring in a vet T capable of being a sound starter because both T positions do have a degree of questioning. Yeah they could use one more G with Daniels on the way out. Maybe they could resign him on the cheap coming off injury but he might prefer a new venue.

The question with Daniels is how he has recovered and does he want to start. I would love to have him back, he was playing well before he went down. He really isn't that old still, 27. But I agree that we should address the T position with a borderline starter, but the priority HAS to be to move Jones to LT. We have to see what we have with him at his natural spot. We can't continue to ruin these young OL by playing them out of position.

Exactly . I think their attention was to have BJ start at left but the RT injury shelved that idea. I think it was a mistake to move him to the RT. This time have a better backup contingency.

Can Troy stay healthy? Can Broderick bounce back and perform better on the left? Was the injury he was alluding to healed?

Definitely some questions there to figure out.

What I want from this draft:
A. early picks DT & WR
B. a Nickel CB in 2nd day that can spot start as safety too (round 3/4)
C. Mid rounds: a RB to share the load with Warren; a nasty senior OT with experience on both sides. Limited athleticism but with surefire floor.
D. CB, DL & WR projects with late picks .

Now if crazy talent falls in the first round at CB I'll take it but seriously doubt it @21.

Later on I'll do some mocks based on this plan

so, with Jeanty available my plan changed some, he was BPA by a long margin so he gets drafted. Malachi Moore maybe was a bit of a reach but CBs flied off the board and he should be usefull as a nickel, still doubled down on CB after getting my high floor OT/G. Doubled on the DT and WR prospects too. I don't know much about college players but I think I got some immediate starters and needed depth plus a couple developmental projects.

As if we needed yet another reason to laugh at PFF, they released a 7 round much draft for all 32 teams. I've never seen a worse draft full of reach after reach in my life.

ROUND 1, PICK 21: CB AZAREYE'H THOMAS, FLORIDA STATE

ROUND 2, PICK 53: WR XAVIER RESTREPO, MIAMI (FL)

ROUND 3, PICK 85: DI RYLIE MILLS, NOTRE DAME

ROUND 4, PICK 121: QB WILL HOWARD, OHIO STATE

ROUND 5, PICK 163: RB KALEL MULLINGS, MICHIGAN

ROUND 7, PICK 225: WR EFTON CHISM III, EASTERN WASHINGTON

ROUND 7, PICK 249: G LUKE NEWMAN, MICHIGAN STATE

The best part? They graded their own draft, F in the first, F in the third 😂😂

Not a Thomas fan huh? You know the Steelers like those tall corners . Anywho I do like Howard in 4. I don’t think he goes lower than 3 though. Maybe even late 2.

Not in the first, I'm thinking late second early third for him. I think Howard in the 4th is about right. I don't like Rylie Mills for us at all, or Mullings.

Edit: I'm also not picking a slot WR when we already have Austin. I want an outside guy opposite Pickens.

Unless the value isn’t there I would be shocked if they didn’t go DL in 1, 2 at the latest. Teams were running on the Steelers. One of the most embarrassing aspects of their late collapse.

You never have to worry about your crap being 100 percent accurate retard you are lucky to see 10 percent.😂

You have issues, get help...seriously
Look at his long meltdown I just responded to in the other thread.

This guy is one of the most delusional people I have seen in a long time.

Just one oddball doofus.

I'm wheelin' n dealin' in this one. Don't get much for next year, but two 2nd rounders, and four 3rds can really help fill some holes on the roster while adding some serious talent.

Had two trades in the first, one with Washington that netted their first, second, and third, and one with KC that netted their first and second. I thought I was safe dropping from 29-32 for Grant, but KC took them with their trade up. So I went into trade mode even more, adding as much value as I could.

With the Steelers having so many needs this might be the draft that trading down would be desirable. Unless someone falls they weren’t expecting. As this draft seems deep at low one mid two range…

Home Depot -Alex has an interesting mock draft if anyone feels like peeking in. No link per guidelines.

I'm just gonna put this in here, since it's really the only draft related thread at the moment. The things you find bored at work...

Brendan Hall, Punter for Montana State. 6'9" 235lbs
