Let’s see some mock drafts..

PFN ... a few trades...

20. Kaiir Elam, CB
Allegedly signing Witherspoon back... still leaves us one man short at CB. Boom. fixed.

60. Christian Watson, WR
Is Juju coming back? Don't know. Right now we have Diontae, Claypool and Anthony Miller. Adding 6'4" Watson is a no-brainer here.

84. Myjai Sanders, Edge
BAA at the pick. Sure, could have addressed a need, but a QB rusher at this point? yes.

112. Channing Tindall, LB
Schoebert is gone now. Line him up next to soft assed Bush and ILB is fixed.

145. Jamaree Salyer, OG
We've had multiple talks with the guy and he fits.

193. Quentin Lake, S
yes - Carnell's son. With both good knees

223. Ty Chandler, RB
he can spell N-A-J-E-E and is pretty good on the field, too

Get Chenal at 112 and this draft rocks. I think Tindall is Devin Bush II. Just 223 lbs., very fast, not going to be a run-stopper. Get the 250 lb. guy who has dozens of examples of shooting the A-gap and blowing up running plays.

#1 CB - check. Legit RT, potentially elite - check. Super athletic, fast, explosive ILB - check. Big safety who plays in the box and takes over Edmunds' role, and probably does it better - check. Massive OT developmental prospect and an interesting late-round WR.

Blitz, what site do you use for your mocks?

Most problems solved except Safety, Green would be an inmediate starter inside net to Daniels and Cole, the OT is a developmental player that might make Chuks expendable next season. A starting CB, ILB and DT from the get go.

  • Chances the draft works out this well are basically zero. Davis + Jack = good luck running the ball. Metchie III is a #1 WR. Lightning quick, great routes, cuts at full speed. Raimann is going to be the RT very soon. Still don't like Okorafor. Chenal is NOT going to last to 138. After the combine, pro-day (6'2", 250 lbs., 4.52 40, 34 reps, 6.84 3-cone) and film showing him taking on RB's in the hole, he probably does not make it to the 3rd round. Jobe an underrated CB prospect, Nelson a great athlete and solid SS prospect. Would LOVE for this to happen.

From PFN, an elite WR, a starting DT, a great OT project, a developmental S with lots of potential, a flyer on a CB and ILB and a lightning fast WR, Feels very complete

No DL? No soup for you!

I scrolled through a half dozen mock drafts this morning and every one of them still have the Steelers picking a QB in RD1, from Willis, to Ridder, to Pickett.

This would piss me off if true, so likely it's likely it will happen.
