The actual schedule doesn't come out until after the draft. All they know now is which teams we have on the schedule. He's out two games, the opponent matters a damn other than if they are conference opponents for tie breakers later on.
we gotta be quick and agressive with getting Helu jr or Bilal Powell and call Dri and tell him to show up to camp at 185 LBS, thats about 12-15 LBS more than he was at the combine where he was measured at 5"8 173 and was the same entering camp, he needs to add a solid 5 LBS of mass on his arms and 5-7 on his upper body. As he hasa chance to open as the back up to the fa signed if he can run in between the tackles a bit, with no mass added he will just be in the gun for a swing passs or screen 3-5 times a game as the first 2 games starter fa[ Powell/Helu JR/Tate] back up Harris change of pace Archer. The Rats we can beat. The Pats** ***-rape our defense virtually every time we play them, plus we're playing in their house where they have the locker room and phones wiretapped. The defense sucked last season and is unlikely to be better this coming season and probably worse. I predict they score 50+ and Brady isn't touched. Take the Pats** and the points, I don't care if Vegas is giving 30. Beatdown of epic proportion and Shades' eyes be bugging out at the presser again wondering WTF happened. Remember, in every game but one they smoked us like a cheap cigar back when the defense was good. Butler may have some new schemes (I hope) but he still won't have jack **** for talent.

Burgandy, you make a lot of sense, but I still think we need to play the game. If by some epic feat, we do win (against the cheaters), then my season would well be off to a GREAT start. Play the game.......

Don't get me wrong, I hate Belicheat's guts and I want us to win but the fact is that he's 10x smarter than Shades, him and Brady are 5-2 vs the Stillers, and 4 of those 5 wins were blowouts where they put up more than 40 points. There is nothing in our recent history that gives me any confidence we can beat the Cheats as long as Belicheat and Brady draw a paycheck there. They own our defense, plain and simple. LeBeau's 10 yard cushion, Brady eats that **** up all day, what they do best is what our defense defends worst. Even if Butler comes up with a better gameplan against that, the D doesn't have much talent. Say we draft the best defensive player available each round (BDPA?), what, are we gonna start 6 rookies against the Pats**? I know that game is more than 6 months away, but we're ******.
Sorry for the rant but I hate those cheating bastiges and it pisses me off that they beat us badly almost every time we play, it pisses me off that their coach is better than our coach even if he doesn't cheat, and it pisses me off that they show up ready to play 95% of the time and we show up ready to play maybe 50% of the time. That's the other thing...the Steelers go out and look like **** for the first 3 or 4 games every year, WTF are training camp and pre-season games for? WTF? /rant off
Bell is a difference maker for the offense. With out him the team will likely lose the game. Think back to what Joe Greene said we won four with him we didn't win one with out him, he was talking about Franco. Just as Franco was important to the offense then Bell is important now and with out him against a good team the Steelers become one dimensional on offense.
The Pats** defense isn't our problem. We can score 35, which is normally a good day, but it won't matter because they'll put up at least 49. Ben had better have another 50 point game in him.

Didn't anyone tell Bell it was ok to hire a lawyer? I mean come on first offense and it was grass not whiskey. I can not believe this was what he got for a FO. It was almost like his attorney pled him up not down.
Lebeau is gone and likely will be his 10 yard cushion maybe Butler plays the CB's 5 yds off, if we can get Waynes or Collins to replace Ike I would play them man to man both are big and fast enough to play man to man, maybe PJ Williams @ Alex Carter as well.

Just read that there is a rumor now that Bell will be suspended for 4 games, which is total horse ****. They are saying it is because his DUI is not alcohol related but substance/marijuana related. This really wouldn't surprise me based on how Goddell has screwed the Steelers in the past. And, Blount will end up getting no suspension. That pisses me off even more.
