Looking for the threads gloating about the awesome Dem candidates after the "debates"

Mods - should probably merge this into the Dims **** Show thread. My bad.

Okay,

Some of my friends are Democrats, and I can talk politics with them, but only when politics are happening or they ask.

My take. The filed is very weak. There is no Bill Clinton or Barrack Obama among the 20 people.

Biden is old, can't come back from a political punch, and looks confused. He's also a moderate with baggage a Democratic partly tilting socialist.

Harirs won the debate, but can't rely on playing the race card or being discriminated against as her ticket to winning. She has to have something else for the foundation.

Warren looks angry, has a shady past and a terrible speaking voice.

Mayor Pete, looks like the poster boy from the Mad Magazine, for those who remember. While smart his record is lousy and there is no way an openly gay man would win a general election.

Sanders didn't do anything but make promises that won't happen.

Those are the top five. My best guess is Biden won't last, but he has the $$$, unlike the rest, so the longer he stays in the race the better. If Biden falls down, which I think will happen beofre 2019 ends, Sanders might become the best choice of a very weak lot. At least he's authentic. But to be real Democrats have become anti white, anti male, and anti old. Yet those are their best shots. So look for a younger minority pick for VP and don't write off the dangerously stupid AOC as a VP pick ( If she's old enough )

I think Marianne Williamson is not getting enough credit. She was something else the other night. Her words of wisdom set to Twin Peaks takes it to another level.

I will meet you on that field

Old Joe in trouble again, LOL!

Booker bashes Biden for 'hoodie' remark

A day after California Sen. Kamala Harris went on the offensive against Joe Biden about race at the Democratic debate, Cory Booker similarly hit back at racial comments made by the former vice president.

While attempting to defend his record on civil rights in Chicago Friday, the 76-year-old Biden waded into more controversy with a remark he made about hoodies.

“We've got to recognize that kid wearing a hoodie may very well be the next poet laureate and not a gangbanger,” Biden told the crowd.

Booker, a 50-year-old senator from New Jersey, hit back at the comments over Twitter. He said the way Biden talks about race is not constructive.

Biden's Top Fundraiser Pulls Support For The Former Vice President

Former Vice President Joe Biden has lost the support of San Francisco-based attorney Tom McInerney, who happens to be one of the campaign's largest fundraisers.

According to CNBC, McInerney told the campaign that he would no longer help Biden fundraise. He was the first fundraiser to public pull support for Biden after the former vice president made controversial comments about working with segregationists and suddenly flip-flopping on appealing the Hyde Amendment, which bars federal funding for most abortions. He eventually said he was against the law.

You'd have to pay me to endure those commie pinko nitwits. I already have the 411 on the entire lot of them.

I love America and always will, regardless who happens to be President. And I don't hate people who support Trump, I mostly feel sorry for you.

Let me see if I understand this........

The economy is boomin', everyone, black, brown, white, or green, that wants to work is working, although I'm retired and living off my portfolio, it continues to grow.

Yeah, things are pretty bad around here now. What in the world would a leftist America do to make things better for Americans that accept personal responsibility already?

Trump does some beautiful trolling here, LOL

President Trump defends Biden after Democratic debate, says Harris got 'too much credit'

OSAKA, Japan — President Donald Trump on Saturday defended former Vice President Joe Biden's performance in the first Democratic presidential debate and said Sen. Kamala Harris got "too much credit" for her searing attack on Biden over his history on race and busing to desegregate schools.

Although he conceded that Biden "didn't do well, certainly," Trump said the facts might not have been on Biden's side and that had he "answered the question a little bit differently, it would have been a different result."

Speaking to reporters at a news conference after the G-20 summit in Japan, Trump said that the line of attack by Harris was "so out of the can," suggesting it was rehearsed ahead of time.

What's Joe gonna say? “The President is wrong. I truly am a lousy candidate.”

hahahahahaha

Harris's response did sound rehearsed. She was waiting for the moment to pounce. Obama used to sound like that. Perhaps they have the same "coaching staff ".

Its amazing that all Harris did was pounce, using the issue if busing, which is not a current issue, and using her status as a colored person, half jamaican and half Indian (from India) , and she supposedly came out the winner? She didn't talk about any forward plan, she only highlighted her non white status and that put her in the lead. Americans are suckers if they vote for that.

And for good reason. Biden - and Bernie, to a lesser extent - need to step aside and let the new wave of Democratic leaders step into the limelight. Namely, Harris, Warren, Castro and Buttigieg. That's where the talent is on the Democratic side. If she makes it through the primaries, Kamala Harris would take Trump's lunch money and have him begging for mercy.

Yes, her plans of raising taxes, open borders, and free stuff for everyone including illegal immigrants will go over great in the Midwest.

The irony in all of the Democrats wanting to give free healthcare to illegals is that they all voted to fine Americans that didn’t have health insurance. It has to be hard for Democrats to say they are for America and Americans when everything they propose taxes and punishes Americans. I struggle to see how anyone votes for that.

Neither she nor any other Dem candidate is for 'open borders.' Please check where you're getting that info from.

As far as 'raising taxes' and 'free stuff', here is her answer on how she plans on paying for her proposals:

"Well, let me tell you something. I hear that question, but where was that question when the Republicans and Donald Trump passed a tax bill that that benefits the top 1 percent and the biggest corporations in this country, contributing at least a $1 trillion to the debt of America, which middle-class families will pay for one way or another. Working families need support and need to be lifted up, and frankly this economy is not working or working people."

I agree with her, and Bernie, and Warren on taxes & federal spending. It's about how you slice that pie, the federal budget, and where your priorities lie. I easily like the Dem version over the GOP version on what that list of priorities should look like. Sorry corporate America, sorry big business, sorry special interest groups and the elite, multi-millionaire class. It's time to carry a bit more load for the benefit of the country. The days of trickle-down economics being a legitimate economic model are long gone.To think otherwise is delusional and does not serve the needs and interests of the large majority of the population.

Nobody said they were for open borders. They talked about decriminalizing illegal border crossing, protecting people illegally here from deportation, and giving them all free healthcare. How could anyone confuse that will open borders.

Dumbass. Dumbfuck socialist scum. And they ALL want open borders. Are you even paying attention?

Never forget that President Obama suggested that “if you vote, you’re a citizen”.

So you want high taxes that will once again stifle job creation, encourage companies to take their business off shore? You do realize more working people means a larger tax base? Getting something from companies by encouraging them to stay here is better than getting nothing from them in taxes if they leave. I don't get your or any liberals logic. Unemployment is low wages are climbing, minorities are see unprecedented growth in jobs and you want to undo all that?

What a load of trash. Bernie even said he was going to raise taxes on the middle class. That's where all the money is dumbass. There isn't enough money in the top 1% to pay for all this **** for an hour. So he and all your socialist buddies have to tax the middle class.

In that entire answer there isn't ONE idea. Just bitching and slogans like "this economy isn't working for everyone". No ****. It won't work for anyone who doesn't want to work. No ideas just bullshit political speak.

I'll help you out. If it means disagreeing with Trump and getting rid of him the answer is absolutely YES they would. TDS sufferers would literally burn this country to the ground if it meant they could be in charge of the smoking cinders left over rather than Trump.

The Dims are screwed. There’s no excitement, no enthusiasm, no crowds... they know this is just a race to see which moron is going to get pummeled by Trump.
