I don't know what is going on there and why he wasn't used at all yesterday, but man, I wish the Steelers could kick those tires if he is released or asked to be traded.

He is a UFA who would be a good pickup with all that happened.

Even better, thank for the info!

Imagine when the Steelers and Pats meet in the regular season?

Would be just a little more extra motivation if he was signed.

Not to mention he is use to facing Brady.

And that is without factoring how it would stabilize the secondary IMO.

That was my thinking, as well. Motivation is never a bad thing and it would be nice to have a talented insider on our side, esp for the PO.

I'd like to know what the guy did to get benched for the SB before considering him.

Yep....I live 20 minutes from Foxoboro. The talk on Boston Sports radio WEEI are saying he broke curfew twice, found with weed in his room and then freaked out on coaching staff.

He would fit right in here,

MB and Bell could show him the ropes and if they came up short they could get with Bam Bam to restock.

:saturn:

One more thing that many here may not have thought of is that yesterday was the
start of the end for Lance br*dy. He will fall fast and especially with his heart not
in it. We witnessed a broken man and his body language said more than just
losing a game. I think their preferred treatment has withered and Lance knows
that.

Salute the nation

He missed the flight from Mass to Minny... Showed up twice intoxicated, passed curfew, found smoking weed during the hotel check on Thursday, and skipped walk thru on Saturday.

No thanks.

And the problem is. . . if he did that here, he would have just missed the first two or three series. Our standards are a bit lower.

Yeah no thanks. All he had to do was show up

As long as he doesn't ***** about playing time..

I think hes average at best. No thanks.

Average and stoned is better than what we have at CB now.

Not in my opinion. Burns, Haden, Hilton, and Sutton are a solid group.

They need safety help. Not corner.

I think I agree. One injury could change that, but overall I agree.

It could be argued that we need competition at both S spots.

I'd rather address safety and outside linebacker. The cornerbacks aren't too bad when you talk about Burns, Haden, Hilton as the top three with some young depth waiting in the wings. Too many big plays with poor play from the safety and inconsistent pass rush from the outside. Watt is easily the best OLB on the roster and no one can even touch him. That's not great in terms of depth.

Pass on Butler, but I'm sure Colbert will keep his feelers up as the FA market materializes.
