NEW YORK – Oklahoma Governor Mary Fallin has released a statement after being named a vice chair to President-elect Donald Trump’s transition team.
On Tuesday, Trump and Vice President-elect and Chairman of the Presidential Transition Team Mike Pence announced the addition of new vice chairs, executive committee members and key staff leadership who will join the Trump-Pence presidential transition team.
“I’m honored to serve on the Trump-Pence Presidential Transition Team. I’m looking forward to working with the many distinguished leaders on the team to help support this administration that will lead our country back to safety, prosperity and peace. I’m also proud to make sure Oklahomans’ values and concerns are heard during this important process.”
There are rumors Fallin is still being considered for Secretary of the Interior in Trump’s administration.
