We've made a couple look pretty goodSorry, I left out vs the Steeler defense. Others teams scrub quarterbacks have great days vs the Wet Rice Paper Curtain.

There is another thread on Masons signing, so I'll repeat myself here.I am really sad to see him go, but I wish him the best of luck with the Titans.
They guy DESERVES some success.
He was nothing but a team guy, didn't complain or bellyache, and waited for his opportunities.
Then did well when he had his shots, and STILL couldn't get any traction with the team.
I really think we will regret losing him as I see him doing well if he gets an honest shot with a team with just a normal system as compared to the sh!t coaches put on the field the last few years.
I suspect he will be the Kevin Dotson of QB's this year and see great success.
it has and will always be black and gold. just because some rapper decided to say black and yellow does not make it so.Naw, its been yellow for about the last decade
100% said what i meant
Technically, it really is "black & yellow" but I don't care enough to debate it.it has and will always be black and gold. just because some rapper decided to say black and yellow does not make it so.

I have not seen this mentioned anywhere. Did Ben mention it on his podcast? Also, by the time Ben was gone, it was time for Ben to be gone. The issue, imo, is that they did not plan for L.A.B. (Life After Ben).Nothing but the best Mason, you were a true professional on this team. I remember when you beat Bungals and Tomlin was asked about you and he said Rudolph being Rudolph, Tomlin being Tomlin as well. Steelers say they wanted Mason back then as usual turned their phones off. He has been treated so badly, Tomlin wanted Ben gone and we Know he was the same with a guy that. not only made Tomlin a winner but got us in the playoffs. Good for you Mason because now in Pickett falls through, Tomlin looks bad.
The only mention I heard Ben make was "the team wanted him gone."I have not seen this mentioned anywhere. Did Ben mention it on his podcast? Also, by the time Ben was gone, it was time for Ben to be gone. The issue, imo, is that they did not plan for L.A.B. (Life After Ben).
Funny things about that song and the video.it has and will always be black and gold. just because some rapper decided to say black and yellow does not make it so.
It's all good, either way: black & gold, black & yellow. The Pens DO wear actual gold in one of their uniforms. Others say the Steelers technically wear "black & yellow." I think technically they are right, but I really don't care, call it however you wish. It's all good.Funny things about that song and the video.
1. Khalifa himself said it's not a tribute to the Steelers, but a tribute to growing up in Pittsburgh.
2. He's also talking about how he represents his city with the colors on his car.
3. Even if you thought it was about the Steelers, you couldn't say it was only about the Steelers since he shows the Pirates and Pens jerseys in his video.
4. In the song itself, there is not one reference to the Steelers, Pirates or Pens.
5. According to Kalifa, he used "Black and Yellow" instead of "Black and Gold" because Black and Yellow worked better with the beat.
*Also, that "some rapper" is Pittsburgh born and raised. Local kid made big. Pretty cool that he'd make a song that is in part about how much he loves his hometown.
You are wrongTechnically, it really is "black & yellow" but I don't care enough to debate it.
There does not seem to be any "yellow"
Golden Rod? The return of Gold Member!
There does not seem to be any "yellow"
no disrespect but everyone that made it was someones local kid that made it big, so I stand by my statement. people started saying black and yellow when your local boy sang it. Like I said just because some rapper sang black and yellow does not make it so. It has been black and GOLD for longer than any of us have been alive.Funny things about that song and the video.

the yellow is in regards to the non stop blinking and yellow bellied coaching that has the Steelers mired in mediocrity
There does not seem to be any "yellow"
dammit, why you bringin' logic to an argument that wasn't meant as anything more than a jab at yellow bellied Tomlin and his turtle teamsno disrespect but everyone that made it was someones local kid that made it big, so I stand by my statement. people started saying black and yellow when your local boy sang it. Like I said just because some rapper sang black and yellow does not make it so. It has been black and GOLD for longer than any of us have been alive.
C'mon DIC it was just a poke at (your boy) Tomlin for being a yellow-bellied leg pisser and that he knows not what the GOLD standard is...OBVIOUSLYYou are wrong
its been debated many times here.
Salute the nation
No disrespect taken if none was intended. And, as U said, if some of y'all started saying Black and Yellow because of the song, well, the songwriter says you're wrong. So, I guess you and the local rapper made good (Khalifa) are in agreement.no disrespect but everyone that made it was someones local kid that made it big, so I stand by my statement. people started saying black and yellow when your local boy sang it. Like I said just because some rapper sang black and yellow does not make it so. It has been black and GOLD for longer than any of us have been alive.
Absolutely
No they don't. They thankfully dumped Vegas gold years ago and went back to Pittsburgh gold. The black and gold vs. black and yellow is very distinct with the fanbase. The B&G fans expect playoff wins, the B&Y fans seem satisfied with non-losing seasons and hype up average players. To be fair, they didn't grow up with the Steelers actually winning playoff games so they don't understand the actual standard. It's all good, either way: black & gold, black & yellow. OK, like I said from the get go, I don't care all that much what they choose to call it. I still say "black & gold" knowing it's probably yellow. To each their own.No they don't.
