What the **** are we doing with this clown calling plays? And no no-huddle??
they ran a little no huddle on their TD drive, they also threw passes over the middle....that **** worked so they stopped doing itWhat the **** are we doing with this clown calling plays? And no no-huddle??
The man running it is a poor fit at this point of his career. They should have let him walk for his opportunity and the long term development of the team.I see no difference in Canada's offense and Fitchner's. It's the exact same thing except the pre-snap movement and that is not going to confuse an NFL Defense!
I disagree man! I'm not saying Ben is not on the decline but he is not the main reason this offense is playing poorly. The play calling is exactly the same as Fitchner. The O-line is THE WORST IN THE NFL and it's not even up for debate! They are a one dimensional offense....even with a great RB in Najee Harris. The man running it is a poor fit at this point of his career. Ben has the fastest release in the NFL.The offense is clearly meant to throw quick plays and run. They can't run because they can't block and Ben holds the ball too long.
Plus WRs really struggle to get separation....doesn't work in a quick play offense, again coaching doesn't understand their personnelThe offense is clearly meant to throw quick plays and run. They can't run because they can't block and Ben holds the ball too long.
and rudy or haskins would be better? Ben is still their best optionThe man running it is a poor fit at this point of his career. They should have let him walk for his opportunity and the long term development of the team.
Too unopen WRs, so your point?Ben has the fastest release in the NFL.
GigidiBen has the fastest release in the NFL.
Or, it was looking ahead to a future that doesn't include #7. I mean at this point in Ben's career, are you hiring a new OC to install an offense that is tailored to Ben's skills? Or, are you hiring an OC that will begin to install his offense during Ben's last year and will do a full install when Ben retires? Not to say that Canada shouldn't be doing a better job, but this is not the same type of offense he ran at Pitt, Maryland, etc.Ben is a bad fit for Canada's offense. It wasn't going to work from the start, which is one of the reasons why I didn't think Canada was anywhere near the best candidate for the job. It was another safe internal hire without truly examining better options.
I would certainly hope they are doing it for the future.Or, it was looking ahead to a future that doesn't include #7. I bet anything Ben was calling the plays there.they ran a little no huddle on their TD drive, they also threw passes over the middle....that **** worked so they stopped doing it
Najee cannot do ****. By the time he gets a handoff the guy is staring down multiple defenders. The line is a mess. It's the OL folks. Burn that in your brains. Doesn't matter whatever plays after that. Can't run. So teams will stack the line and stuff the short passing game, the run and rush the qb all the time. It's a defenses dream to go against a one dimensional offense with a poor OL.
Has it occurred to anyone that maybe this is the offense that Ben wants to run? After all, in the offseason, Canada said that we do what Ben wants to do. Two different OC's and the same offense. At this point, it's either Ben or Tomlin wanting to run this garbage offense. Randy Fichtner is probably seized up with cramps from his ridiculous peals of laughter.I see no difference in Canada's offense and Fitchner's. It's the exact same thing except the pre-snap movement and that is not going to confuse an NFL Defense!
