McCullers

For now just tell him to plow straight ahead into whoever is in front of him. That would be more pass rush than we've been seeing.

I've said it a thousand time (i have been counting and this is the 1000th time), how hard can NT be. Is it so complicated in the Dick L. system? Left gap / Right gap, but plow forward!!!! This McCullers may not be a super star, but for now he is by far the best we've got. With the more playing time, he may become the star we are looking for.

Like has been said on here, even if he can't find the quarter back having him in the backfield will be something new. We have been rushing Jarvis who can not seem to get there unless unblocked.

We haven't been rushing Jarvis since week 3. At which point in the season he led the team in sacks with 2. Unfortunately, he's still in the top 3.

Sad state of affairs :(

More good **** from Steelers Depot. Film study of McCullers.

Dude can play. Flat out. He forced runs to the outside, and drove a Pro Bowl center 10 yards through a pocket. Yes, TEN ******* YARDS.

More snaps for McCullers please...

I would like to see the Defensive Linemen get their hands up more on passing downs. McCullers was collapsing the pocket nicely up the gut and had he put his paws up he may have stopped quite a few passes. We certainly don't bat down passes or tip them as often as we should.

I think the batting passes may come later, but for now time, it would be hard as he is doubled team a lot. Remember he is a rookie and just getting the nod. Kiesel is notorious for hands up and batting passes, but he isn't doubled teamed nearly if at all as much as McCullers. Hopefully this aspect of his game matures into his play.
