Round 7 Pick 30: Joe Williams, RB, Utah (B-)

RD1- DAVID NJOKU MIAMI (FLA.) TE
Went with the best value left on the board. Freak athlete who should turn into what we hoped Green would.

RD2- ADOREE' JACKSON SOUTHERN CALIFORNIA CB
Best CB left on the board and should immediately be competition for the nickel position and an ace return man.

RD3a- JORDAN WILLIS KANSAS STATE OLB
Took awhile to get our edge guy but Willis is constantly in the backfield disrupting plays. Very good athlete who should benefit from learning from Harrison and being an instant rotation guy.

RD3b- JUSTIN EVANS TEXAS A&M S
Get our future replacement for Mitchell.

RD4- RASUL DOUGLAS WEST VIRGINIA CB
I know I already went CB but too good value to pass up. 8 picks on a tall zone CB who wins those 50/50 balls.

RD5- ELIJAH LEE KANSAS STATE LB
A guy who flies around and makes plays. Excellent in coverage. Isn't going to stack and shed but uses speed and angles.

RD6- AARON JONES TEXAS-EL PASO RB
Not loving the depth situation at RB. Jones is an elusive back who one cuts and up. Has above average hands. Good speed not great but enough to get it done.

RD7- ISHMAEL ZAMORA BAYLOR WR
Zamora is a freak athlete who left early because of a video of him beating his dog. Should have stayed in school to put up numbers again and to help repair his public image more. Didn't so a guy that could have been an early first is around this late. He's 6-3 224lbs and runs a legit sub 4.5. Worth the risk this late.

Round 1 Pick 30: Zach Cunningham, OLB/ILB, Vanderbilt (A-)
Round 2 Pick 30: Cameron Sutton, CB, Tennessee (A-)
Round 3 Pick 30: Dalvin Tomlinson, DT, Alabama (B+)
Round 3 Pick 41 (COMP): Dawuane Smoot, DE/OLB, Illinois (B)
Round 4 Pick 28: Amara Darboh, WR, Michigan (A+)
Round 5 Pick 29: Brian Hill, RB, Wyoming (A-)
Round 6 Pick 29: Ben Boulware, ILB, Clemson (C)
Round 7 Pick 30: Dallas Lloyd, SS, Stanford (B-)

Wierd mock where Watson went 6th, Kizer 27 trib late rnd 1, I really want another big body to rotate with Cam, tuitt and hargrave, I would of liked the ILB from Lindwood in the 6th but he was nabbed and I wanted a good back up for Bell so instead of Kaaya I went RB. Hoping somehow with the lack of interest there is in AP and Lynch going to the Raiders AP is willing to back up bell for 2.5 mill. and show he can still be a force as a Short yardage screen RB and open some heads for FA for next year and help us get to the big dance this year.

Interesting to see the Mock 1st round drafts across the net and such wide variety of the draft spots for a single player. NFL.com draft tracker shows 5 mocks of the first round.

one has us taking Peppers with Charlton and Trubisky on the board while a couple others have Trubisky going in the top 10. most have Peppers going well ahead of us and I think one doesn't even have him in the first round.

Another has us taking Charlton with White on the board and most of the others have White in the top 20 taken.

I agree with a A+ draft..but what other choices did you have at TE?

not sold on Jake............

I saw on NFL Network this afternoon that in his latest mock first round, Bucky Brooks has the Steelers taking QB Kizer.

I don't follow this stuff closely at all - since it's mostly a crap-shoot - but it got my attention.

my best one yet
Round 1 Pick 30: Takkarist McKinley, OLB/DE, UCLA (A-) Solid edge rusher, non stop motor, will not give up will keep rushing and his pursuit if he does not blow by the OT will get coverage sacks as QB steps up
Round 2 Pick 30: Ahkello Witherspoon, CB, Colorado (A-) Tall lanky good athletic CB who could be a 5+ year starter, good straight line speed and with hieght could be the perfect guy you want to press vs AJ
Round 3 Pick 30: Jake Butt, TE, Michigan (A) huge target who can be used in many ways and a great fall back option if Green has setbacks, not as fast as Green but solid blocker and runs well think of a quicker Bruneur
Round 3 Pick 41 (COMP): ArDarius Stewart, WR, Alabama (A+) BPA, I wanted QB Webb here but was gone
Round 4 Pick 28: Nazair Jones, DT, North Carolina (A-) Long lanky powerful De/DT who will help Cam and Tuitt get some rest just like the 2 DE's who have a knack for batting passes and will be a force if we run either a 2-4-5-1-5-5 2-3-6, or 3-3-5 by bull rushing past the C or OG
Round 5 Pick 29: James Conner, RB, Pittsburgh (A-) good replacement for D williams challange laundry
Round 6 Pick 29: C.J. Beathard, QB, Iowa (B-) Decent prospect to
Round 7 Pick 30: Ashton Lampkin, CB, Oklahoma State (B-) add more depth could challenge for nickel

It got my attention by making me sick to my stomach. The same way I would be if the Steelers took a QB in 1.

There have been draft picks I haven't liked, but they didn't actually make me mad. This might.
