MONDAY NIGHT game thread Buffalo vs NEW York

Well, you could also be credited with two quarterback hits and six hurries.
Then you throw in that the guy who gave up 3 sacks to Watt had a better game run blocking than Moore did.
McKivitz only had one QB hit but Dan Moore only had two. I guess 3 sacks and 1 hit is worse than 1 sack and 2 qb hits.

If you tell me that AR is knocked out on the 4th play of game and they tied 13-13 in late fourth, I laugh at you

Wow. Strange game. Congrats Jets.

How many "hurries" do they have McKivitz credited for? They have Moore credited with 6.

I really think that the mid-tier QBs are the future. Sooner or later the way the rest of the AFCN did the QB thing will be over. It just doesn't make long-term sense.
Either mid tier or keep drafting college QBs. Just make sure you get one willing to put in film study and the rest of the work.

And build a monster OL.

Oh come on he hit him before the leg whip

That's what happens when you have to pay your "franchise QB". Everything else suffers.
I was thinking more along the lines of Allen is a bit too much gunslinger right now. He still has his weapons on offense.

I think Moore gave up the first sack on 3rd down. Pretty sure Jackson was lined up on him. It wasn't his fault though. Cole got pushed back and the pocket collapsed and Kenny tried escaping left and Jackson got him.
Yeah, I guess I would say just by my one time watching that game that the Steelers line wasn’t bad. I mean they weren’t elite but they were a lot better than the jets tonight

I guess a hurry is a pretty subjective stat compared to sacks and hits. Maybe pff weighs them as much as a sack. And again pff is still **** for ratings.

Personally I thought they weren't very good. SF controlled the LOS all game. Kenny never got comfortable and it threw his timing off. I know great QBs overcome that but Kenny is still pretty raw.

There wasn’t a lot of runs so I really don’t want to grade their run blocking. Pass blocking KP had time usually and a clean pocket. Some of those sacks/hits were on him.
