We just came off a bye week........... you would think the coaching staff and medical staff would have seen this coming and dealt with it during that time.... unprepared once again obviously

Yeah that's something you definitely can't plan for. I'd figure they remove his appendix. I'm not sure the recovery time on that,but I'd figure he will be gone for awhile. I'd go with 4-6 weeks to play football again.

Yeah Ben pulled this same **** on me back in 2006 after I drove all the way to Pittsburgh for the home opener to see him play
I never ever saw Ben play in Pittsburgh ... he was injured every game I attended............. saw him in Detroit and Buffalo though ......

This season is heading toward a top 5 pick ........ one of a few bright spots I guess

This has been the worst season I have ever experienced as a 47-year Steeler fan. Disaster. Can’t wait for the draft…

We are not even at the halfway point yet ..........Tomlin could still have a winning season and everything will be all better in Steeler land ............lol

This mere mortal got emergency apendix out late friday and worked monday with absolutely ZERO pain meds. Yes it was a near burst and the surgeon said it was the worse he had seen so not a placid standby operation.

I realize football will take longer recovery due to the violence nature. (I'm a plumbing & HVAC contrator)
