More adversity ......... Minkah out with appendicitis vs New Orleans

I had a dream... like MLK

What if we win our the remaining games???

I know that's ballsy but what if we do???
🤣

I guess if you are going to dream, dream big. But let's not give it more than two bad teams played and one won.

I was always a big proponent of going 11-0 at the end of a season rather than going 11-0 to start a season

I think we win enough to f@@@ us out of a top 5 pick

Now that makes more sense.

I think this team with Watt is clearly much better. I think they will win 2 of the next three which gets them to 5 and then maybe another 2 or 3 down the stretch and they end up 7 and 10 and in the top 3rd of the draft. I think of they had Kazee and Watt all year they win 9 or 10 which is what I predicted at the beginning of the season.
They should end up with three picks in the top 50 thanks to the Bears.

I think between 5 and 7 losses as I mentioned once somewhere is a realistic prediction. I also think what we saw with Watt was some rust due to his circumstances. If he can stay healthy which is a fair mention the D will be considerably improved. As I think once his legs are back the D takes a bigger step toward what we hoped for. Helps to have Kaz on the field too.

His mere presence helps the other side not being double teamed or chipped by the RB, when you have Watt + Heyward you just can't spare a blocker on Highsmith and he is prolific when he is one on one. Hope he can be kept for a decent contract, not like Dupree who wanted a kings ransom.

Lol. Like HCVLMT could beat N.O.

He couldn't muster a win with one of the top 10 QBs all time AND Antonio Brown AND an offensive line.

His *** is ALREADY kicked 3 ways from Sunday.
Turns out... I was wrong!
If the RB who hasn't broken one run all year puts up near 100 and the rest of the running game also explodes... They have a shot.

Gave other teams the blueprint for defeating them. Or maybe judging by their record they got the memo. But with their porous run D, feed a healthy dose of run run run into their game plan.

Steelers won't have that luxury as much moving forward, so let us see how effective the run game is. Hopefully with continued improvement, obviously.

In all of our truly bad seasons, we always have weird injuries and Rookies playing like rookies

Do not fool yourself, there is a strong foundation of young guys on this squad that will one day be a good team… we still need some pieces, but its definitely not as bad as many seem to think… we only have 4 30+ year olds and three of them are minor players at best on this team… only Heyward really matters…

This is like 2003 or 2006…

More like 2003.
2006 was a SB hangover year

Culture changes. Just different times

You create whatever culture you want. It doesn't matter the time. what was good in 1976, was good just the same in 1995, 2008 and hopefully sometime between 2023-2025.

I dunno. If that were the case, it would work now wouldn’t it?

Guess we’ll have to see what happens in 2023-2025.

Question is: Do the Steelers still sale merch and tickets if the culture doesn’t change?

Your coaches set the culture and how we do things. You draft players who fit that mold. The players then hold the standard and each other accountable. They're the standard bearers. All new players coming in answer the the coaches and them since they take ownership.

Selling **** doesn't have a thing to do with it. If they want to be champions then you have to create a championship environment.

Championships are a fan novelty. These guys are making six figures to millions of $$$. Sure you could argue being on championship teams opens up the potential for more endorsements.

Just put it this way. If you were a millionaire athlete. Would you rather be enjoying the offseason in a nice beach somewhere or getting your bell rung in january playoff games.

I just think the way we see sports compared to guys who are making millions is more of our projections and wants than theirs.
