MVP Talk

Ben could pass for 7500 yards 60 TD's and no interception and they would still find a way to give it to someone else. this is what scares me about him getting into the HOF when he retires.

Sometimes off the field issues color the way people view a person.

I live in an area with a small percentage of Steelers fans, and Ben is not liked BECAUSE of his off the field **** by MANY people. He may not have been charged over any of it, but public opinion is that where there is smoke ....... Not saying they are right, just how people (Not Steelers fans) feel.

I don't think he ever gets past the accusations, since the NFL didn't have their PR team re-write the history, Like they did for Ray Lewis.

Mike and Mike w/ Cris Carter had a discussion this morning where they listed their top 5 MVP candidates and they listed Aaron Rodgers, Tony Romo, Demarco Murray, J.J. Watt, and Antonio Brown and Carter quickly made a comment basically dismissing Brown.

They did this conversation a split second after talking about Big Ben leading the league in passing yards...

What they decide to vote on is just that a bunch of useless crap. In defense of some of the other choices, unlike the steelers there is a three headed monster on the team AB, LB, and BR. The argument could be made that each of the three is much better because of the other two, the entire synergistic principal demonstrated. As far as MVP I would be inclined to go with JJ Watt because he is so much to the team he plays on. It would be realistic to see him as the most valuable player because of all he does.

Romo are you ******* kidding me.
Murray is the leading rusher but is not near as complete a package as Bell. A similar argument can be made regarding the synergistic principal.
Aaron Rodgers could be a good choice as he is the most important to his team and except for a few teams would be a huge up grade over what they had at the position. Think Breeze, Ben, and maybe a couple of others who would not be forgotten quickly if Rodgers took their place.
