"Najee Harris ain't it". NAJEE 3.0 It's time to go, yo....

He did not do what he asked. I asked for more yards, and I asked for more closing games.

I also asked for more yards per carry and more first downs…

I’m the bad guy because I want a running back that can control a game?

I hear the frustration in your words, many here are right beside yaz.

I’m disappointed in the RB tho a degree, but ultimately it’s the HCs system that has failed just as much.

He gave you nothing? None of those beast runs gave you nothing? He was getting 1000 yards behind a bullshit line and you got nothing out of him?

I would guess the problem is you

2-3 games a year he’d look absolutely dominant, problem is where they drafted him (not his fault).

Most would be happy with his results if he were a 2nd or 3rd rounder. As a first round guy ya want that potential he flashed 2-3 games a year every week (maybe 2-3 games where he doesn’t show it).

To me he was a good guy but bad fit and was a huge part of the problem with the offense cuz so much of it went through him.

He’ll do well as a Charger in a system that fits him better and many will come to the realization that once again it was a Steeler issue and not a player issue.

Pretty much nailed it.
The najee hate that some of these guys have is crazy.

Leven Bell couldn't get 1000 yards 4 years in a row behind a better oline
But yeah let's ***** about najee
He absolutely could. Prime Le'Veon Bell was one of the most excited offensive players in the league, the type of back who could put the offense on his back if needed.

but he never did. as great as he was he could never do what Najee did. but lets ***** at Najee
You mean he could never put up a 3.9 ayp? (2.8 postseason, yikes! Najee was nothing, nothing. Bell put up a 4.3 ypc while in Pgh, big difference.)

pssst! Lloyd I am supposed to be on ignore

Bell could not get 4 1000 yard season in a row. despite having a better line, QB, OC etc.

Najee is underrated with some of you guys

Average 3.9 YPC and rarely have a 100-yard game? Yeah, Bell and a lot of other RBs could do that. Bell was significantly more talented than Najee and completely changed his body after having a Najee-like rookie season in order to develop into one of the top running backs in the league.

Bell
2013 - 13 games 860 yards - projects to 1,058 over 16 games
2014 - 16 games 1,361 yards
2015 - 6 games 556 yards - projects to1,483 over 16 games
2016 - 12 games 1,268 yards - projects to 1,691 over 16 games
2017 - 15 games 1,291 yards - projects to 1,377 over 16 games

Factor in he averaged 62.4 receptions per season (80.5 receptions per season if he played 16 games each year).

Bell was elite talent. Najee has been a volume producer (who will definitely be better in LA).

Projects. Not actual. I think a few posters on hear do not get how hard it is for a RB to go an entire season without missing time. Let alone 4 years in a row

It doesn't change the Grand Canyon-sized talent gap between the two running backs or that Najee had the 3rd worst YPC of the top 30 rushers in the NFL.

He suited up every single game. Contributed every single game.
A super talented guy like Bell could not do what Najee did.

How many times was Bell suspended? How many time injured? And let's not even bring up what he did at the end.

Najee was a team player that brought zero distraction. He will be missed

Dan Moore suited up and contributed every game too. Who cares? He wasn't as good of a player as a Leon Searcy, Marvel Smith, etc.

Are you going to bring up Ben's injuries and suspensions as well? Does it somehow make them less of a player?

Najee was a guy at running back who wasn't even as good as the guy he replaced. They'll be able to find another back or two who can at least get them 3.9 YPC.

Bell had the advantage of playing behind a much much better oline. Much better QB. Much better OC.
You can't argue that.

Bell was also a piece of **** person. Selfish, stupid and brought a lot of bad attention to this team.

But he had a better YPC. So therefore he is a better player. Got it

I think he took me off ignor as well.

NFL switched to 17 games in 2021, Najees first year...Bell was done...

That extra game holds alot of weight....1000 yards in 17 games is pathetic for running backs

It's like a pitcher giving you 5 shaky innings

LeVeon Bell was one badass lead back....
