He may be gone but if Najee starts producing 5-6 yards per carry on average, then this thread will certainly turn into yet another "Tomlin sucks" thread. This is turning into the covid vaccine thread from P@R.
Harris is gone. Let it go

Being a Steeler fan in this day and age is convincing me that those people who believe that we're all just living in a simulation are on to something. I mean, none of this bullshit makes sense.

When Mendenhall was Steelers RB they had some pretty decent weapons in offence (Ward, Wallace, Miller), Ben at quarterback and a far better OC than Canada so you can't really use rushing stats (in particular YPC) alone as a base for comparison with Harris if that is what you are trying to do.Rashad Mendenhall
Rush 1,081

Average 3.9

There is some nuance but there is no getting around the fact that 3.9 career will always be underperforming. 32 of 32 teams in the league would be looking to upgrade from a career 3.9 RBCooch loves him some yard per average. Right here is 100 % proof Lloyd is in fact Cooch. As the one trait that has been consistent is neither being able to adjust their opinions no matter what proof is presented. Posters can explain to Cooch until they turn blue and yet the opinion and agenda stay the course. Never changing.
Stupid isn’t being wrong. It is being proven incorrect and still trotting the same old garbage out.
Too many factors go into yards per average for a running back but here he is. Waving that freak flag .
Der the RB with the highest average is Der best est running back. Honest

The one monkey wrench in the system is that Bettis had the same ypc average in his career. And in no way is Bus only considered the caliber of Harris, no where close. Bus is legendary, Harris is back up level. Huge difference. Yet same ypc. I watched every play of both of them: No way did I walk away thinking the two were similar in any way. There is some nuance but there is no getting around the fact that 3.9 career will always be underperforming. 32 of 32 teams in the league would be looking to upgrade from a career 3.9 RB
Kaleb Johnson or any other rookie RB in the league isn't winning any fans averaging 3.9.
Its awesome that Steeler fans are able to notice the subtle differences between Jerome Bettis and Najee Harris. The one monkey wrench in the system is that Bettis had the same ypc average in his career.
