Najee Harris is slow af

Case in point for Harris…. Look what Conner is doing in Arizona. If Harris played for A team with even a junior varsity line he’d be amazing. Unfortunately his current line is pee-wee league.
 
He has a line that ...all should be given a one way bus ride home at end of year.

2000 combined or just rushing? Either way that is a bunch of yards.
 
Harris' speed was discussed prior to the draft knowing he would not be a home run threat. It's why there was debate between him or Etienne as the top-rated guy on the draft board. Harris is good, but his production has been dwindling. I think he's regressing a bit in the sense that's missing some holes now that he wasn't earlier in the season. Not blaming him for this, instead the horrible offensive line play. When there is a rare hole available, he doesn't always hit it.

I see the holes others teams create....especially going against us. I have not seen one like those once this year for Harris or any other RB on our team. It is simply horrible that our line is this bad. How Harris has the yards he does it crazy. Yet how we our above .500 with 3 games to go. Even Barry Sanders would have had issues with this OL I think.

You'd think we'd get a hole like that by pure accident. The line is a mess every week.

If he would just run straight ahead and not look around so so much he would average in another yard per carry easily. I know the holes aren’t great but he still dance is too much

What he needs to not do is retreat to go forward. That one play he lost yards doing that. He is probably pressing a little due to horrific line play.
 
Yeah run straight into your lineman getting crushed. No one has ever been taught that. If he didn’t try to make a move first he wouldn’t have , half those yards. The kid is a stud, he just needs a little help up front. Saw a stat yesterday he averaged 1.6 yards before contact. The defense is almost taking the handoff.

Most definitely. Would love for him to crack that 1000 yard rushing plateau this year though.
 
Defenses are stacking the line, but Canada still insists on running Harris into a brick wall. Put Harris behind a decent line with balanced and creative play calling and you'll see different results. Just look how well Aaron Jones is playing for GB behind decent O'line play, and he's not even as fast as Harris. Imagine Harris playing behind that line?
 
This is a FUCKARD thread. Was Jerome Bettis fast? Najee Harris ran a 4.45 at the combine and is at the very bottom of problems with this team.

Harris has a **** line, and bad playcalling. Talent wise he is definitely a solid RB.
Not an elite back, He's no Kamara, Cook, Mcaffery, Jones, Taylor, Henry or even Nick chubb? but he's better than what alot of teams have at the position.
He does look like he's lacking power and acceleration, but his ball security and pass catching is pretty solid.

Lacking power? Not on board with that at all. What do all those teams have in common? Good run blocking lines. I want to see what the kid can do with an improved line before I tag him a deficiency.

Oh yeah Slash. Can't you see his lack of power. I suppose you don't notice that Watt doesn't play with much of a motor too. Watch the games man.
