Oshie's easy to root for when he's not playing against the Pens.
Although I do not want to see Ovie and Wilson lift the cup.

I gotta root for Pens west. Too many ex Pens who were stand up guys for us. Excluding Neal, although I enjoyed his scoring time on Malkin's wing.
 
Would probably need to take off work if the bolts can somehow win this. An OT win would be perfect way to send the Caps into hibernation

I don;t get how you guys cannot pull for the Caps in the Final. I live in Vegas and I'm happy for the city but these fans here don't really appreciate this ****. They haven't been through enough to understand how hard a cup run really is. I'm a huge Fluery fan and I'm so happy that he has had the year he did here but Ovie and the Caps deserve that Cup if they can seal the deal. They've been through so much and hate them all you want you have to respect them for finally breaking through the Pens and getting there.

Oshie, Orlov, the russian birdman aka Kuznetzov, Nisky --- who I loved as a Pen.

They are a combination of the Ravens and Bengals for me. Wouldn't root for either of those teams and won't root for the Caps.

I'm also a Pistons fan so I know all about having the guy on your team that everyone hates. Bill Laimbeer was a POS. But he was out POS. I can't stand Wilson because I know he's in guys heads. Hines Ward was lighting people up for years.....as a WR. You talk to fans on other teams and I get it.......but he's our guy. Matt Cooke was a ******* POS and got to wear a Pens sweater. That dude was way worse than Wilson.

I was fine pulling for the Ravens once the Steelers were out. At least they show up versus New England so they have my respect. That second half of the AFCC game win they had against NE where Stevan Ridley got knocked out of the game was one of the most physical and dominating halves of football I've ever seen. The Bengals. Absolutely not. There's no one I respect on that team even half as much as some of the Ravens or Capitals players.

Still cannot stand Wilson. It's not just Pens series. He has a history. Like Cooke.

Yes I get it. Everyone hated Hines. Part of the game is getting in opponents heads. But cannot root for the caps

I kinda feel like the fans are a bunch of wanna be bandwagoners too. Not there fault though. Doesn't feel right having an expansion team with enough talent to win it all. That being said MAF makes it a no brainer for me to pull for Vegas. Plus I don't want that dirty MF Wilson to even sniff the cup.

I didn't think the Caps would have anything for the Lightning so I wont rule them out in the Final.
 
The Caps fan base and the DC area hockey fans, are in general more deserving/worthy of the Stanley Cup residing in their town for the next year.
 
No team or fanbase really deserves anything until they win the four games needed in the Finals. What do the Caps and their fans deserve? Underachieving and choking for the last 10 years deserves a Cup? I don't think so anyway. I will be pulling for Vegas! Cannot root for the Caps, just like the Ravens. They are douche bags. Their fans, coaches and teams. If they win a ring, good for them, they probably deserve it, but I don't have to pull out the pom poms. I wouldn't watch the last 3 minutes, handshake and trophy presentation. Wasn't interested. Call me a poor sport or whatever. I'm on the Golden Knights bandwagon hard now. Toot toot!
