Joey Bosa was released by the chargers
Seahawks release Tyler Lockett
Plus all the other's we already knew about (Hargrave, Minshew, Adams, Slay)

I have never seen a fanbase so happy a star player got cut than with Bosa... charger fans disliked his perpetual injuries

A huge contract, and the constant injuries will do that. When he's healthy, he is a stud, he's just rarely healthy. But now he can go play with his brother

Say no to Bosa...
oh for sure. This isn't a list of guys we should bring in, just a general FA thread. The crazy part about the whole thing, LA entered FA with about $66m in cap space, sitting in a very good spot to spend during FA, now they are at 90m in space. The Raiders at 95m and the Patriots at 127m are the only two ahead of them.

Watch how quickly Jim Harbaugh changes things for the Chargers. He’s a smart coach and knows how to build a championship caliber team. Already has the QB now watch as he starts adding pieces and they will be the face of the AFC soon as the Steelers just keep living in the past. Getting rid of often injured over payed Bosa was smart. If the Steelers were wise they would entertain thoughts of moving on from Watt for premium draft capital. I like Watt but he deserves chance to win and it’s not happening here for him. So move on from TJ, give him a chance to win and reap the benefits of trading him by adding valuable draft pieces. That’s what a smart franchise would do not what they will do by paying him big money to win nothing.

"Crosby lands record-setting deal. The Raiders' star signed a three-year, $106.5 million contract extension that includes $91.5 million in guaranteed money. The deal is worth an average of $35.5 million per year, which makes Crosby the highest-paid non-quarterback in the NFL. That title previously belonged to Justin Jefferson, who's making $35 million per year. "

TJ just got that much more expensive.

Dammit. The first bad news. Kirk traded to Houston for a 7th. I hope we at least made an attempt. That is a steal.
Well I read we offered a conditional 8th rounder so.........

If you are gonna spend money on a ufa, he is the guy... i mean assuming we arent spending **** on O yet again...

All the money goes into the “D” because Tomlin thinks it a personel problem. Keep getting better players, pay more for players, yet the scheme is still breakable.

Salute the nation

there's a better crop of DL and CB Free Agents than WRs, so that also defines where the money goes. Or would you be happy sending a **** ton of money to retread WR just because you need one?

Crosby is three years younger than TJ. That's pretty significant in NFL terms.

Being 30 years old, TJ probably wouldn't get the return in a trade that we would like. He could start to decline at anytime, and might have started showing signs of it last season, especially toward the end.
