He finds them everywhere, but this one seemed really inappropriate. At Pearl Harbor, he managed to wedge in this..whatever this is..

It is here that we remember that even when hatred burns hottest, even when the tug of tribalism is at its most primal, we must resist the urge to turn inward. We must resist the urge to demonize those who are different. The sacrifice made here, the anguish of war, reminds us to seek the divine spark that is common to all humanity. It insists that we strive to be what our Japanese friends call otagai no tame ni — “with and for each other.”

Actually, I think that it is there that one remembers that the Japs sneak attacked us, marched our boys to death at Bataan, and generally brutalized our POWs. Remember that when the tug of that kind of tribalism hits us, we'll drop nukes on your ***. There is your divine spark.

And of course, the requisite apology for our history -
As nations, and as people, we cannot choose the history that we inherit. But we can choose what lessons to draw from it, and use those lessons to chart our own futures.
The lesson drawn from it should be you **** with us and we will destroy you. I guess Obama's solution would have been to send Hillary or Kerry on one of his awesomely effective diplomatic missions after we got attacked.

God I cannot wait to be done with this assclown.

What Obama neglects to understand is that Japan is one of the most racist countries on the planet.

translation - blah blah blah blah blah..

regrettably this clown will still be in the public eye for years to come.

Nothing good to contribute now, won't then either. Mr Golf probably won't be building homes with Habitat for Humanity, that much you can be sure of. Worst POTUS ever. Left this country in ruins.

Please just leave office early. Go golfing. Go snort some coke or whatever you do. Just go away.

Note for the Japs. You mess with the bull you get the ******* horns. Those crazy ******* had every opportunity to not get nuked. It took two bombs before the stubborn asshats would surrender. All over pride and honor.

No ****. Other presidents just go away to Texas or NY or California or wherever. This douche has to rent a house in DC.

Obama - very correctly and appropriately - called out Trump. He should do so loud and clear up until the inauguration. It is also a time for action, not just words.

From Robert Reich:

Trump is accusing Obama of putting up “roadblocks” to a smooth transition. In reality, I think President Obama has been too cooperative. In the next 23 days, I'd recommend Obama take the following actions:

1. Name Merrick Garland to the Supreme Court. Article II, Section 2 of the Constitution states, “The President shall have Power to fill up all Vacancies that may happen during the Recess of the Senate.” This has been used for Supreme Court vacancies before—William Brennan began his Court tenure with a recess appointment in 1956. Any appointments made this way expire at the end of the next Senate session. So a Garland appointment on January 3 would last until December 2017, the end of the first session of the 115th Congress.

2. Use his pardon authority to forgive the past and future civil immigration offenses of the nearly 750,000 young people granted legal status under the Deferred Action for Childhood Arrivals (Dream) program. Without an immigration offense on their records, they could more easily apply for legal status.

3. Impose economic sanctions on Russia for interfering in the 2016 presidential election, including blocking all further loans or investments by Russian nationals in all real estate in the United States.

4. Instruct all cabinet departments and agencies not to respond to any Trump transition team inquiry that might intimidate any individual members of the civil service.

5. Issue an executive order protecting the independence of all government fact-finding agencies: The Bureau of Labor Statistics, the Bureau of Economic Analysis, the Bureau of Justice Statistics, National Center for Education Statistics, National Center for Health Statistics, National Center for Science and Engineering Statistics, U.S. Census Bureau, U.S. Energy Information. (Trump could repeal the order, but that would be politically costly.)

6. Issue an executive order protecting the independence of all Inspectors General in every cabinet department and agency. (Ditto.)

7. Issue a report showing which states will most benefit from tax cuts going to the America’s rich and to large corporations (it will be blue states), and which states will lose the most from cuts in Medicaid and repeal of Obamacare (red states), along with estimates of such gains and losses.

And Tibs quotes Robert "Angry Dwarf" Reich. Hilarious!

Trump has worked more, as a President-elect, than Bammy has done in 8 years, as President.
