In June 2008 candidate Barack Obama said Hamas was a terrorist organization.

“My policy toward Hamas has been no different than his. I’ve said that they are a terrorist organization. That we should not negotiate with them unless recognize Israel and renounce violence.“

But, that was back in 2008. Today Barack Obama told Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu that he was willing to negotiate with the Hamas terrorists. The Huffington Post reported:

President Barack Obama is telling Israel’s leader that the United States is willing to negotiate a cease-fire between Israel and Hamas.

Obama spoke with Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu on Thursday, as Israel was intensifying an bombardment of the Gaza Strip in an attempt to thwart rocket fire targeting Israel.

This blows my mind. I live in one of the largest Jewish enclaves in the USA. I've been privileged to work for 3 different Israeli companies. I'm proud to call many American and Israeli Jews friends in my personal life.

Yet they by and large persistently vote Democrat here in the USA. Nothing has ever boggled my mind more.

Ever ask? I'm confused myself but then again I live in MA and my wife votes straight D and then questions me later what's going on with the border and Iraq.

Most Jews are secular Jews and not really affiliated with Israel proper. Some of the more secular Jews call them "Self hating Jews".

It is said that if Jews voted they way they lived, Democrats would never win an election. The vast majority of Jews are conservative in their own lives. They raise their kids with conservative values. And then they vote Dem.

I think the answer is the infamous Jewish guilt. Jews identify with victims and since the Dems main campaign strategy is convincing people they are victims then painting themselves as their champions, Jews fall into the trap.

Hispanics are largely the same. In general, Hispanics believe in hard work and keeping what you earn. They tend to be socially conservatve as well. Many of them have felt the repression of socialist regimes firsthand. Yet, they come here and are taught to fear the boogeyman Republicans, so they vote Dem.

Im not surprised. Bomma negotiated with the taliban..and/or al quida. Now hamas. He will do anything to please his masters.

With only 2 years left as president it is highly likely his actions will get even more bold. I still cant believe people actually voted for him.

this..........

I spent a year living in Wynmoor while they were clearing the land for our farm, nothing can prepare you for an experience like that.

That being said, my mentors in business were mostly Jewish and none of them would have voted Democrat. In fact one of them went on TV actively campaigning against Obama.

On Friday, in an interview with Fox News’ Sean Hannity, billionaire Home Depot co-founder Bernie Marcus said that a second term for President Obama would bring “despair.”

Don't compound the mistake by seeing what he's doing as being motivated by his "pussiness." He is bringing to pass that which the left have dreamed of for decades.....the downfall of the republic. It is calculated.

925 days til this clown fades back into oblivion. Damn, that is a long time.

Far too long. And by then I fear the damage will be unrepairable. It may be already.

Absolutely correct.

Jews tend to be socially Liberal and as usual being Liberal trumps your own self-interest. Voting reliably Democrat has worked out so well for the blacks.

Hamas Is Using Palestinians As ‘Human Shields’

U.S. to fund Palestinian government

(Reuters) - The United States said on Monday it plans to work with and fund the new Palestinian unity government formed after an agreement by the Fatah and Hamas factions, and Israel immediately voiced its disappointment with the U.S. decision

Palestinian President Mahmoud Abbas swore in a unity government on Monday in a reconciliation deal with Hamas Islamists, who advocate Israel's destruction.

The United States views Hamas as a "terrorist" organization and the U.S. Congress has imposed restrictions on U.S. funding for the Palestinian Authority, which typically runs at $500 million a year, in the event of a unity government.

Katyusha Rocket Fired on Northern Israel from Lebanon

As the rocket fire from Gaza terrorists continues to pelt southern and central Israel, a new front appears to have opened Friday morning as a Katyusha rocket was fired on the northern tip of Israel, north of Kiryat Shmona.

The rocket landed in open territory in the upper Galillee. Apparently the IDF estimates it was fired by local terror groups supporting Hamas, and not by the Iran-proxy Hezbollah terror group.

In a statement, the Lebanese army declared a total of three rockets were fired on Israel by “an unknown group” from the Marjayun-Hasbaya region of southern Lebanon

Israel has a much better legal justification for its Gaza attacks than Obama had for his air raids on Libya.

If this were about establishing a Palestinian state, this would have been done decades ago. This is about Jews occupying "Muslim" land, and the Islamists will not allow this to happen. They will not be pleased until Israel ceases to exist.
There is s saying in the ME................If the Arabs lay down their weapons, there will be peace. If the Jews lay down their weapons, there will be a slaughter.

This will not change in our lifetime.

ol
It's been going on a lot longer, more like 1500 years. Mostly fighting each other and the occasional Christians. The deal with Da Jooz amped up after WWII when the United Nations formed Israel to give them a homeland after the Holocaust. The land was not being used for anything but the Muzloids regard it as an affront. This is why a lot of Muzloids are Holocaust deniers. You'd think they'd be happy that Hitler eliminated 6 million Jews, but that justifies the existence of Israel. There never was a Palestinian state since the Palestinians were always a nomadic people. Bill Clinton worked a deal that would have given them over 90% of the land they wanted but Yasir Arafat still said no.
