His speed is what is needed provided it can be used to go over the top or cause over top coverage to be shifted his way. When do you think he will get to try on a hat?

Chase has made some improvement and I'm hoping he continues. Deonte does what is neccessary and one hell of a good hands receiver due to his work and dedication to improve that aspect. JuJu makes combat catches except he is injured.
Odell could be an improveent but also could easily be a detractor meMeme and take us backwards as a team.
I'll PASS on him.
EDIT: Don't want the drama or the dad as the Dad is mearly and extention of Odell.

i liked Miller coming out of college. I thought he'd be a good pro but he never emerged despite getting opportunities and a few teams have moved on from him. Houston cut him and they don't have a ton of talent on that roster. Something must be off with Miller. Maybe he's dumb and can't learn a playbook. Maybe he's a headcase. There must be some issue.

The Browns agreed to remove the final two years of Odell Beckham Jr.'s deal, and he is now scheduled to be a free agent after the season. Any team that claims him on waivers would inherit $7.25 million of salary.
So to claim him will cost 7mil plus…
And if he's dumb or whatever, just have the coaches tell him "now look, you just run this go route (points to line on page), and it's going to likely change their safety coverage".
Like you've mentioned, we need a speedster/homerun threat with the ability to change their coverages a bit.

The STEELERS are on that list of 9 who have cap space. I'm still confident FO will NOT make a move because if nobody claims him he is a free agent Tuesday. I hope like hell our FO doesn't do anything then either.

His lack of production has more to do with Baker. Having said that dude appears to not be the receiver he was in NY...will not contest catches, alligator arms in traffic. If you bring him in it's only to take the top off the defense and for the occasional big play. Not worth the $ in my opinion.

They just showed an in-game stat showing the browns are better off without Odell in all catagories wins / points / total yardage per game.

i know a browns fan and today he says that OBJ is completely what was wrong with the team and now that he's gone, everything is fixed. Today totally proved it was all OBJ's fault.

he’s dead serious. OBJ was screwing up the whole team and now the defense will be better and Baker will be great and Peoples Jones is better than OBJ anyway.
I think that writhing the next few weeks without OBJ, defenses will not be scared of the browns beating them deep and will start to clamp down on tyebrun and underneath stuff. Kind of like how teams play the Steelers.
