Maybe, like last season, they will only sign the cheapest.
We will sign Russ or ARod for more than what Fields signed with the Jets. Desperation will be starting to set in for Omar and Tomlin I can imagine.

Not in love with any alternatives at this point but Rodgers would truly put me into a bottle early.
Russ also for me. Who is left?

When we signed both Wilson and Fields last season I said we would be in the exact same spot next offseason. Probably will be here again next offseason also.

Honestly if I am a QB and saw film of our offense the last 4 or so seasons.....Pittsburgh would be my last option unless they offered a **** load of $$$$$. See Metcalf.

Warren tendered.....$5.35 mill

Dude can run though.
Anyone than Rodgers, I don’t understand how the front office is even considering a guy who has no mobility and a back peddle at a 5 degree angle away from another season ending injury.

Agreed. Our FO is in desperation mode now though. We will sign Russ or ARod and be in this exact situation again next offseason.

Here are your options.
42 year old Aaron Rodgers.
37 year old Russ Wilson
28 year old Daniel Jones.
Pick your poison! This is where we find ourselves in year nineteen of the Tomlin Administration.

Donte Johnson signs with Chargers for 13 mill over 2 years.
That sounds kinda cheap

I might actually go with Jones out of the remaining players. I liked what Russ did early last year, but I can't get past his inability to see or use the middle consistently even if Tomlin wanted him to. Rodgers second Wilson third. Jones has the most unrealized potential but the lowest floor and frankly I am ok with that. I want him to be the answer or suck bad enough to get us the answer.

Lebanon, I agree with you on Daniel Jones. Put him in Arthur Smith offense and maybe he can be that bridge QB at a reduced cost, less than the other two until we can draft a QB in 26 draft.
I think the jury is still out on Jones and he could turn out to be pretty good. Not great but pretty good which is better than we’ve had since Ben retired. I’d feel better with him than the other two.

You left out Rudy and Kyle Allen 🤣

…which means it will be OldeRuss making too much on a 2 year deal, I could see Mike’s infatuation with Rodgers past pedigree putting him at the helm too (barf in mouth)

Never fear tho, let Mike cook and get that trophy case ready for another Tomlinship…we got this, quarterbacks don’t matter…OBVIOUSLY

I believe he’s available, maybe better than what we have but his performance last year wasn’t great. A pass

He definitely was an option, his performance last year shouldn’t be held against him due to the loss of his one year old daughter and injuries. Not sure what’s left as a solid # two corner, he actually could have been a number one. Disappointing, we haven’t done squat at corner, DL and of course QB.
still 600 some free agents out there plus some teams will have to make more cuts before Wednesday as they are still over the cap. They may be playing the comp pick game this year so they can trade some of next year's current picks during the draft.
