Official what we get for AB thread

Well considering all this is Ben's fault and not ABs, GMs should be lining up at the door to get a crack at AB correct?

Screw Ben. He's a trouble maker!

He ran our beloved Todd Haley out the door and now our fun-loving, crayon eating HOF WR.

Green Bay really seems like the ideal fit. They have a new coach and two first round picks. They can get an impact rookie at No. 12 and Brown would be a bigger impact than anyone they get at No. 30. That could instantly put them in contention in the NFC North.

I like it. And I want to see the meltdown when Aaron starts yelling at him. But since he is a "team leader", maybe that will be ok. Although it will be Ben's fault that Aaron yelled at him.

Ab is a headcase but still one of the best receivers in the league. I could see us flipflopping 1st with the 49ers or raiders. we get their high 1st and they get our 1st.

Hopefully we get more but at least this way we get a impact player on defense we so desperately need

I would be ok with that but I would want a 3rd as well.

I like getting the #2 from Frisco, they get our #20 and Antonio *****....Make it happen

or a 4th, but we don't even know whats on the table????? Might end up with a 1st and 3rd outright and at the top 12 level.

Salute the nation

I'm not trading AB and a #1 pick to either of them to move up....they come out way ahead

I dont know. Ab is amazing but wide reciever is a position the Steelers have proven to be able to draft.

We need a homerun on defense. We nwed an Ed Oliver type player. A cant miss. At 20th those guys are gone

sure but unless the team is throwing in other picks or a quality player, giving up AB and our #1 for an early #1 is a one-sided deal...and not in our favor

Teams are coming out and saying that despite Colbert's bullshit that they are not interested in Brown and have not contacted the Steelers. It's in a Behindthesteelcurtain website. Will link it later when I am able to.

We had a great offense with AB last year. If our defense could have gotten 1 stop in that 4 game stretch who knows how are season would have ended. I am willing to bet our offense will still be top 10 without ab. I think with a Ed Oliver or Josh Allen or a top corner, our defense is vastly improved this year.

to me it would be trading a 31 year playmaker on offense for a younger playmaker on defense. who makes a **** ton less money. how bout that scenario and we swap 2nd rd picks as well. would that do it?

Well, if true, he's still under contract, and the Steelers have all the control, unless he sits out without pay. Rinse and repeat next year, but he's shown he likes the money too much for that.

And if he does anything out of line.....simply fine his *** or suspend him.

Two teams saying they didn't contact the Steelers isn't all of them. We don't even know if that is the same two teams that talked to Colbert.

You are reading too much into speculative ****. And trying to pass it off as fact.

So excuse me if I call your post bullshit.

Oh well if it’s from BTSC, then a bloggers opinion must be gold compared to the actual GM and other teams anonymous officials....

Uh, I’ll take KC word instead. He’s a straight shooter in the former GM/league talking head circles.

I don't remember seeing where Colbert said which teams had reached out to him...so....sounds like a bunch of bullshit to me....

Frank Reich did not hide his feelings on Brown:

https://www.behindthesteelcurtain.c...rs-about-wide-receiver-antonio-brown-nfl-news

“I think we’re a team on the rise, and the reason is, we have the right players in the locker room,” he said. “It’s the right kind of culture, and that culture starts with the guys in that locker room. It’s not open to just anybody. That locker room is not just open to any great player. You’ve got to be the right guy. You’ve got to be the right player.”

Vrabel's video makes it clear he wants no part of Brown in his locker room either.

Really / the Colts have said they will not bring in great players who are not good locker room guys., etc. The market is not huge for a malcontent WR who is small, old and a huge headache.

These are public comments that just refute everything Colbert has been saying. For teams to do it publicly and so soon shows what the league makes of Brown. He is a great receiver who is an ad liber with Ben on most of his great plays. Going to a more structured offense or a mediocre QB will destroy Brown's stats and if his stats are affected watch out for his psychotic behavior. I guarantee this is the thought process on Brown around the league. Steeler fans don't want top admit it but if Brown was on another team the Steelers would have ZERO interest in this POS.

Did you stop reading before you got to Gruden and Dorsey?

Cowherd just said a key source of his says no one wants AN+B and the Steelers may end up being stuck with him. He also said many teams are trying to acquire OBJ. Love him or hate him Cowherd has great sources and is usually right on these things.

Why don't you wait and see what happens before spewing your speculatives.

We get it you hate everything under the sun, Tomlin,Colbert, etc.

I like Colbert, he is making an *** of himself on this issue. Tomlin is a POS as a person and as a coach.

I will speculate all I want Nancy, this is a discussion board so keep waving your pom poms *****.

Perhaps we should trade him to the cheaters for a conditional 7th in next years draft?

We are giving Brown way more attention than he deserves. He wants gone, we just lived a year with Bell's social tweets and what it did to the team and now this guy. Lets move on find some defensive players than can protect a lead and forget Brown and bell.
