I was just going to say that. What’s with the stuffed animals? How exciting to get an Olympic teddy bear.
Yup
I can relate to that. In drag racing if we start with 300 cars at the beginning of the day, 299 of them will lose by the time its over.Team Canada is going to throw those silver medals in a drawer in the garage work bench.
Second place is the first loserTeam Canada is going to throw those silver medals in a drawer in the garage work bench.
Have to admit, I shed a tear. Now they are making me cry![]()
Wow, after that, NHL hockey is going to seem pretty pedestrian.....
Connor Hellebuyck with a performance that will go down in Olympic history.
He is the reason they won the gold. What a game!
Never seen more disappointed faces to win a medal lol
Yeah but you don’t get a bronze Stanley cupThink of it as coming in second place in the Stanley Cup Final.
Actually 46 to the day they beat Russians46 years to the day since the last gold medal.
And they played Finland for the Gold.Actually 46 to the day they beat Russians
Gold came two days later
Yeah but you don’t get a bronze Stanley cup
The only thing better than beating Canada is beating Russia…Yeah ,I know. It's a crushing defeat and I'm sure the natives will give them **** for choking or something silly. It's their sport,I get it. You can't smile or show happiness at the moment without getting **** on. The standard is gold, anything less is just unacceptable.
I'm glad it was Canada they had to play for the gold, both men and women. It makes victory greater. They're the gold standard of the sport, so beating them is a hell of an accomplishment.
Canada is the modern day Soviet Union when it comes to hockey. The past few Olympics and World Championships, you’d be hard pressed to find a better collection of talent on a single team. Granted the Canadians aren’t playing together year round like the Soviets, so that makes a huge difference. Still, with all that talent I was shocked to see them struggle in a few games, and figured they would win the gold. If not for Connor Hellebuyck, they would have.Yeah ,I know.
