So yeah, mitch doesn’t look like an all star.. and we just lost a winnable game, but the Ravens just blew a 21 point lead and the Browns scored a td with 1:55 left to go up 30-17 then proceeded to give up two tds to lose the game… plus Cinci is losing after one series… and even if they win we are guaranteed to go into Cleveland with the division lead

The defense looks good.. the offense is putrid, but there is lots of talent there…

Our D is horrible against the run especially when it counts. That is a big problem.

Huge play. No question but that is a reach. Better chance. 100%. Win it. Well you gotta slow down the run.
Yep. Look how much better the coaching was there. That stretch run play they used to ice it. Didn't see it all game as far as I can recall and they pull it out there. No way the Steelers were stopping that.

We cut it to 17-14, have all the mo, and the defense lets another opponent make a killer 4th qtr drive. Where have we seen that before?

True but in the d so far has been on the field roughly 60% of the time compared 40% of the offense. This time of year is 80+ it is going to wear you down. The o has to start pulling their weight and stop with the 3 and outs. For Christ sakes how can every 3rd and x be the play call be run a route x - 2 yards. Been happening for years.

Now after two game we point the finger at Baltimore and Cleveland losing. Please did you actually watch our game and actually see how bad we are on all phases of the game. I saw no excitement out of this team, no physical play but I saw a coach come in and show us how bad we are. It killed me

From what I saw from Baltimore and Cleveland, we are not beating them. No way is this team built or coached to come from being down 21.

Cincinnati looks bad. Those were also bad losses for Baltimore and Cleveland.

However, it's hard to be optimistic knowing the Steelers aren't even going to try to win games with the offense.

Last year Ben, would have won this game.

Optimistic

1) OL is trending up, albeit slowly

2) Pickens is the real deal, we just need to see him on the field as well during the reads.

3) The "D" did a good job of compensating for a missing WATT, remember no matter what they can't get the WATT production.

4) Our DC and LB coach seem to be better than last year's participants.

5) Mitch is ebbing his way to a PICKETT start or an in-game change at QB.

Salute the nation

so them losing impressed you that much? especially having the jets beat one of them?

**** the rats and the stains

He would've. Ben couldn't move and didn't want to get get and I will admit I was wrong that I thought the offensive coordinator would open things up more with a new QB. I still believe Ben is a shell of his former self, however, he could put up the same type of production if he signed with the team tomorrow. No excuse for this scheme.
