Optimistic post Loss thread

We actually averaged 4.1 ypr … the pats only had 4… it just seemed more stagnant than it was… but ill admit, this oline is getting manhandled at times… when their technique breaks down it isn’t pretty

He would've. Ben couldn't move and didn't want to get get and I will admit I was wrong that I thought the offensive coordinator would open things up more with a new QB. I still believe Ben is a shell of his former self, however, he could put up the same type of production if he signed with the team tomorrow. No excuse for this scheme.
This **** makes me laugh. Yeah. Sure. He couldn't move like he did when he was in his early 20's. You give him the time Jones had today and I would put money on Ben week in and week out. Ben still could make all the throws. You don't have like 7 fourth quarter come-from-behind wins last year with our OC and OL unless you still are able to play at a higher level. This offense looks worse than last season's. Go figure.

Cincinnati looks bad. Those were also bad losses for Baltimore and Cleveland.

However, it's hard to be optimistic knowing the Steelers aren't even going to try to win games with the offense.
When are you pulling Mitch's cord if it was your decide?

I think that one FG would have been good from 70

Who could we get from outside the organization to come in and be interim OC for rest of year ?

PS

I don't think Coach Tomlin would have the gonads to even attempt something like this.

Looking at the odds, the Steelers need the next two games against the Browns and Jets because after that they have the Bills and Bucs. I think they need to be at least 3-3 during that stretch because I think there are a lot of toss up type games over the following 3-4 weeks. I don't even think the issue is mainly Mitch, but rather this awful scheme the Steelers continue to run. I don't think they all of a sudden open things up with a new QB under center.

I'm all for it but we would have to get him to clean up a little and make sure his "ensures" were fresh so no one could see if he "leaked" down his leg.................

Reality is that O'Canada would be easy to replace similar to what Sherman was in the Cowher era. This time of year we may not get the top OC that will available in the off-season but we could have a better one to get us through the season then look for permanant.

Coolie for interim OC.!!!!

We cut it to 17-14, have all the mo, and the defense lets another opponent make a killer 4th qtr drive. Where have we seen that before?
But it will be all the Offense that will be blamed. Never mind that our HC/Defensive savant doesn’t know how to stop the run. Never has, never will.
