Options at QB1 (including rumors of offer to Darnold)

Fields - he seems less likely by the day

Wilson - despite the rumors to the NYG, Russ seems like the most likely option

Darnold - he'll go back to seeing ghosts if he signs with the Steelers, and it'll have to be for too much for too long

Rodgers - from a pure entertainment/talk radio POV, electric move

Draft Pick - I'd consider Dart and Sanders at 21, but the Steelers would HAVE to invest in supporting either
So far right on track!

I don't want A rod slow, terrible leadership. I'd rather have Russ back at 2 years and secure Dart or trade up for Sanders. Milroe, you need a very smart new era QB coach n oc taking things from the college level and simplifying them for something he could be good.

Maybe we package Pickens to move up in the draft if Sanders starts to slide.🤔

Have you seen enough of Archie to make this wager??? I, for one, watch college football RELIGIOUSLY and Archie does not have enough tape to throw the entire draft away for him. Let's see what he does this year 'all by himself' at QB.

If Bryce Young didnt' turn the corner so well at the end of the season - I would have put a request to kick the tires on him but he's going nowhere now.

I dislike the option of A-A-Ron in this organization. I dislike it a lot.

I just heard, by a local Burgher, that Justin is only looking for 10M per year!!! C'mon, bruh!?!?! I'm sure the Steelers can find that money somewhere...
Arch looks like the most legit guy to be a franchise level QB I’ve seen albeit in a limited sample, you’re right he needs to show it for a full year but he’s going to get that chance now.

If not him, they do need to move into the top 10 and try to our long term answer at QB, there’s always the chance they guess wrong but they half to try.

If all Fields wants is 10 million a year and will sign a 3 year deal then Khan should have already done it-I kind of doubt that tho, he’s the best short term answer but I doubt he’s that guy for the long term

You on that government interweb??? This response is hours late, but oh well...

And Archie is still unproven.

If he's going to be a top-3 pick he'll come out next year unless the Texas boosters break open a huge pay-for-play deal.

We’ll see, he’ll get a bag from boosters and needs more than one year starting. He’ll be going to a bad team with very little experience in 2026 and they’ll expect him to be the savior.

If I’m the Steelers at this point, I do the following:

- Resign Wilson for 2 years, let him start and mentor the next QB
- Draft Quinn Ewers in round 3, he is starter ready if Wilson stinks or gets hurt
- Trade Pickens to recoup the 2nd round pick lost for DK, take best RB available
- Rebuild DL
- Sign legit CB in FA

If you trade Pickens, you are right back where you were last year... just take a third round rb and a gamble on a low round QB who you hope can be a back up at worse.... get the long term fix at QB next year... it aint getting fixed this season

DK > GP, Wilson back, can draft a #2.

Nothing is guaranteed for next year’s QB draft. A year ago Ewers and Beck were projected as top five picks. A year before the Kenny draft, it was Spencer Rattler and Sam Howell. Things change overnight in college football, take one and sign one every year until you find your guy.

Honestly wouldn’t mind bringing Mason back as a last resort lol.

Russ has an advantage of being in the system last year plu experience with DK.

I think Rodgers would be able to slightly provide more for the offense but will cause issues in the locker room.
