Never asked for an example of exaggeration. I asked for examples of my lying, and for examples of my "hating a player for life so I could rip on them when they fail" or whatever Supersteeler posted. None have come, and I doubt they will.

I just read every post in the Pouncy thread after yours up through Steelerfan448. Several agree (me included) with most of your analysis. I'm sure that you consider andrew part of the PissyPants Crew, but his post doesn't mention yours, at all and certainly isn't whiny. I don't know what you see.

Correct. My contention is that Sanders is a mediocre (not average, mediocre) receiver. I'm sorry you worked so hard to get me to admit that he's "average" but the stats don't support that very well, and neither does the film, which may be why I didn't/don't agree with you.

I believe it was since the board reset that you essentially told supe and I that we weren't educated enough because we didn't watch enough film. I called you out on it in that thread. If you don't consider that as smarmy, I don't know what is. It is certainly condescending. I'm terrible at searching this board, so I couldn't find it, so I can't be sure that it was post-reset.

Untrue. What I called out Supe for was NOT for a lack of film watching. It was for being snarky toward the draft opinions of others WHILE being uneducated and relying on free, two-paragraph, online draft profiles for his information. I don't know jackshit about hockey, no matter how many free ESPN articles I read about it. So if I jumped into a Penguins thread to tell the other posters how stupid they were, wouldn't you expect me to get called out for NOT knowing hockey.. ?

That's what you aren't getting and where I am trying to help you. It's very easy to say something without actually saying it. It's precisely that above which comes across loud and clear in a lot of your thoughts, but you are expecting someone to come up with a post of yours that states verbatim "I am an expert, you suck". Even a dimwit can get a message if its clear enough. If this thread has taught us anything, it's not just me and me only that has been getting the message, by a long shot. Just something to think about.

I was allowing that you may have finally said he was "average-at-best" since you just said you did or I misunderstood what you meant in this thread. I've no need nor desire to show you which sites I used, but I can assure you that it was more than a copy/paste job from nfl.com. the only (read: ONLY) reason I posted anything from nfl.com initially was because the majority of it was summarzing what i read elsewhere. Why should i post 15 different URLs when one will suffice? The only reason I continued posting from nfl.com is because you ranted and raved about it, dismissing it without reading. So, again, **** you.

No. I mean back when knowledgeable posters were the norm; there were more than 5-10 of them. The debates back then made sense, and excellent posters didn't get run off the board because 80 whiny ******* can't handle a thread like "Emmanuel Sanders is not a world-class receiver."



They were players whom I felt PROJECTED better to the NFL than Archer. And yes, I think all three will have better careers than Archer (as will most players). If you can't see the difference between a prediction and a projection, then I can't help you. A projection is an outcome that you EXPECT based on data and past outcomes. It doesn't necessarily "predict" future specifics, like rushing yardage or touchdowns. A prediction is something like "Steelers 20, Ravens 17" that Skip Bayless shouts on ESPN. I have no interest in that.

Yes, he has. He's claimed to have not watched much film, if any, and his draft responses to me have pretty much exclusively been copy-and-paste jobs. That's why he got **** when he started ripping on the opinions of those who HAVE studied the topic.
