The man accused in the fatal shooting of a 16-year-old boy Monday in an apartment off Airline Highway was in the country illegally and had been arrested in Baton Rouge five years earlier on gun and drug charges — a case that local prosecutors said they were told would result in his deportation.

An illegal Mexican immigrant with a long rap sheet who has been deported five times allegedly killed a Californian woman in a violent drunk driving crash.

Estuardo Alvarado, 45, was arrested after slamming his car into the back of Sandra Duran's vehicle in North Hills, Los Angeles on February 19 after fleeing another crash he had just been involved in. The 42-year-old mother died at the scene of blunt force trauma.

BROWNSVILLE, TX (The Brownsville Herald) – A 23-year-old undocumented immigrant is behind bars for causing the death of another driver after allegedly driving his vehicle against traffic Thursday night in Brownsville.

According to authorities, officers were called to the 4000 block of Boca Chica Boulevard shortly after 8 p.m. to respond to reports of an accident involving three vehicles.

Brownsville police report Marving Andres Resendiz Zumaya was driving eastbound against traffic in a white Ford F150 when he struck the front end of a Ford Ranger driven by a 79-year-old man who was heading westbound.

Previously Deported Illegal Alien Raped 7-Year-Old Girl In Texas

SAN ANTONIO, TX (KEYE-TV) – An illegal immigrant accused of sexually assaulting a family member has been placed in Bexar County custody. Jorge Zapata-Rosas, 29, has been on the run for nearly three weeks.

Zapata-Rosas was arrested Thursday morning by U.S. Marshal deputies near Zarzamora Street on the West Side. “A warrant came out on 3/6 of this year which is about 3 weeks ago. Police made contact with the child’s mom after there was an outcry,” says Lee R. Rosas, a U.S Marshal Deputy.

Deported Killer Re-Arrested In Arizona

NOGALES, AZ (Fox News) – A deported killer has been caught on the Arizona border trying to slip back into the U.S., officials said. U.S. Customs and Border Protection officials took Genaro Galvan-Mora, 26, into custody Wednesday evening near Nogales, Arizona.

A records check during processing by Tucson Sector Border Patrol agents showed Galvan-Mora was convicted in May 2016 on a reckless homicide charge in Tennessee’s Loudon County. The charge stemmed from a deadly game of Russian Roulette, according to a Loudon County newspaper and police records.

Galvan-Mora was deported on Feb. 27 after nine months behind bars, the Associated Press reported. He had been sentenced to 3 years in prison after pleading guilty, according to court records. He was arrested on the reckless homicide charge in 2014 when he was 23, the Loudon News-Herald reported at the time.

Evidence and circumstances surrounding the case suggested that Mora and the victim, 25-year-old Diego Cisneros Fonseca, were involved in Russian Roulette by putting one round in a six-shot, .357-magnum revolver, the paper reported. Investigators suspected Mora discharged the gun by spinning the cylinder and then pressing the gun to Fonseca’s head and pulling the trigger, the paper reported, citing police.

Uhhhhh .... yeah, that's not how Russian roulette is supposed to be played.

I don't know why this isn't an option. We already put prisoners to work on road gangs, why not criminal interlopers on wall gangs ?

The Brevard County Sheriff's Office operates about five inmate work details outside the jail on any given day, but this new work-crew is the only one outfitted in bold, black and white stripes and locked up in chains. The sheriff hopes the new look will send a message.

"I remember growing up as a small kid, looking out the window of our home at members of the chain gang working in a ditch and thinking to myself: That's not a place I would ever want to be," Ivey said. "I've said from the very beginning that I'm going to put emphasis on crime prevention, and this is a component of that. Not wanting to go to jail is a form of crime prevention.",

Mexico may not want to pay for the wall but the least they can do is supply the labor.
