"My dad worked in the steel mill."

I love how these guys always present themselves as the " little guy" while being just more of the same: corrupt special interest ******.

This one wants to move his hustle from small time all the way to D.C.

Just another pig at the trough conning gullible rubes like Burgundy.

Representin’ Like A Representative: A Look At Jim Christiana’s Campaign Cash

State Representative Jim Christiana (R-Beaver) received more political contributions last year than all of the other five state reps for Beaver County combined, an investigation by the Beaver Countian has revealed.

Campaign finance reports from 2012 show Christiana received nearly $310,000 in political donations. Democratic Representative Rob Maztie came in a distant second, bringing in just shy of $84,000. Representative Jim Marshall, the county’s other Republican representative, received only $52,675 in contributions.

In just one month, between March 6th and April 9th of last year, Christiana’s campaign saw donations to his campaign in excess of $88,000. He brought in half of that sum again between April 10th and May 14th, another $48,000. The months between May and October saw an additional $164,400 added to his coffers. Despite extensive spending by the candidate, Christiana’s campaign account had over a quarter of a million dollars sitting in it at one point during the last election cycle.

By comparison, Christiana’s rival in the last election, Democrat Bobby Williams, raised just over $20,000 during his entire campaign.

News today reporting that incumbent Democrat Sen. Bob Casey, Jr. has $3 million in his campaign fund.
How do you feel about that, Elfie? Besides which, you can do better than a blog article from 2013.

In other news , this is the sort of brain-dead local Democrats I deal with on the county GOP page:
Yea if you HATE YOUR SOCIAL SECURITY AND ANY THING ELSE TRUMP HASN'T DESTROYED YET!!! VOTE IN ANOTHER FREAKIN RUSSIAN REPUBLICAN .

Adults know they're breaking the law by entering the country illegally. **** 'em.
I wasn't joking about shooting people. If we shoot a pregnant woman it's two for one...one who is entering illegally plus one abortion. It's just one more abortion, I don't see why you have a problem with that.

Just reading this now after coming from the thread called ROP where you criticize Islam for being barbaric and defend Christianity.....yet here you are saying this.

CAN NOT MAKE IT UP.......

Republicans?
It would be fair to allege "NO compassion" against to whom it may concern, but to make this over generalization shows your immaturity..Conservatives as a matter of fact donate more to charities than you bleeding heart tightwads.

How many illegals have you taken into your home btw oh compassionate one?
None?

Same as we non compassionate Republicans.

Speaking of..What if it's a pregnant woman who is murdered and her unborn child dies as well? Is not the perp charged with a double homicide?
Yes he is. But why? It was only a zygote.

Badcat never said he was Jesus.

You can say what you want about my maturity, but your inability to think critically is what is in question here.

Conservatives appear to give more because that statistic includes the 10% they tithe to their churches, you know the 10% that is used to give to politicians to fight against gay rights and to deny women the right to do with their bodies as they please.

My......my.....how charitable.........LMAO

And those that do take money and feed the homeless or anything else actually useful only do it because they want to kiss the *** of their imaginary sky daddy.

Liberals do things like that because we have real compassion, and understand what it means to be a complete human being.

Government and religion are separate here. Your side freaks out when there's a chance there isn't. One doesn't have anything to do with the other. So do you want religion in government or not?

God you're dumb.

My church feeds homeless drug addicts, runs a preschool for poor children, delivers meals to elderly and shut-ins, provides impoverished new mothers with food, clothing, baby equipment and parenting classes, provides disaster relief, helps provide Christmas gifts every year to poor children...the list goes on.

What do you do with your money? How many people do you help? Just curious.

My guy lost although did better than many expected. It's hard for candidates from western PA to win over candidates from the east in statewide elections because so many more people live there.
Republican
U.S. Senate - Lou Barletta
Governor - Scott Wagner
Lt. Gov. - Jeff Bartos

Democrat
U.S. Senate - Bob Casey, Jr., incumbent, unopposed.
Governor - Tom Wolf, incumbent, unopposed.
Lt. Gov. - Braddock Mayor John Fetterman, yinzer. This ought to be good. He's a Socialist, 6'8" bearded bald biker dude, who makes Gov. Jesse Ventura look like a girly-man. First time in history that the incumbent Lt. Gov. lost a primary. It is well-known that current Lt. Gov. Mike Stack and his wife are ********, such that Gov. Wolf doesn't talk to him and in fact removed his state police detail and the maintenance and housekeeping crew from his residence due to their abusive treatment of staff. Stack finished in fourth place out of four candidates.

Socialist and progressive women cleaned up in Tuesday night’s primaries

Tuesday night’s primaries shaped up to be big for socialist and progressive women.

In Pittsburgh, two socialists with the backing of Democratic Socialists of America (DSA) beat two different members of the center-left Costa family, a political dynasty in the state. Another DSA-backed candidate in Philadelphia beat three men and secured 51 percent of the vote to win her primary, while two women, one in Pennsylvania and another in Nebraska, running on a platform of Medicare for all and other lefty progressive ideas won their congressional primaries.

Taking down the Costas
Two DSA-backed women, Sara Innamorato and Summer Lee, won their primaries easily Tuesday night. Innamorato and Lee both challenged members of the Costa family in state House races in the Pittsburgh area, beating Reps. Dom Costa and Paul Costa, respectively.

Both women are first-time candidates running on a socialist platforms, including Medicare for all.

Lee’s campaign also included ending cash bail, $15/hour minimum wage, creating a millionaire’s tax, a moratorium on prison building, 100 percent renewable energy, universal free pre-K and childcare, abortion rights, and free college. If Lee wins in the general election in November, she will be the first Black woman elected to the state legislature from southwestern Pennsylvania.

Innamorato won with a similar platform. She also made housing as a human right a priority for her campaign, vowing to protect tenants and prioritize funding for affordable housing.

Their progressive platforms are markedly different than the Democrats they toppled Tuesday night. Dom Costa, who Innamorato beat Tuesday, has supported conservative abortion and immigration bills, and stands by that support.

“I believe in abortion for certain reasons,” he told the Pittsburgh Post-Gazette last December, mentioning rape or to protect the health of the pregnant person.

“But,” he added, “not for birth control. You should be adult enough to watch yourself.”

So socialists and progressives (democrats) beat other democrats in a democratic primary? That's just nuts.

Let the excuses flow from the usual suspects....

Primaries bring out the activists in both parties, especially in non-Presidential election years. S'all right, PA isn't all that Liberal once you get out of Philadelphia so most of them will lose in November.

Even dumber. It's not communism when you willingly give to others. It's communism when stuff is forcibly taken from you by the government and given to others.

You mean like Imperialism?

The only difference is communism takes it from those who stole it or gained it by exploiting the masses and if done correctly returns it to the masses.

Imperialists take it from the masses and give it to the elite.

So I take it you like Trump's tax cuts and his concern for Chinese workers?...............fools Lol..

Even dumber. It's not communism when you willingly give to others. It's communism when stuff is forcibly taken from you by the government and given to others.

And you're not willingly giving anything. That is clearly shown by your negativity towards helping anyone if it's not through the church.

And that ties right back to only doing something charitable to kiss your sky daddy's *** since you are so scared of what he can do to you.

Pathetic...no other word for it.

You and your church only help people because of your fear of an imaginary bully..........what does that say of you types?

It's called fascism.

I'll say the dumbing down of CONservative America came long, long, LONG BEFORE the Dept. Of Education came into being.

Philly Election Worker Pleads Guilty To Intimidating Voters; 'You will vote Democrat!'

PHILADELPHIA (CBS) — A North Philadelphia election worker has pleaded guilty to election fraud during a 2017 special election for a state House seat in the city.

Pennsylvania Attorney General Josh Shapiro says 59-year-old Thurman George, a machine inspector at Poll 43-7, pleaded guilty on Wednesday to frauds by election officers. George, along with three other election workers, was accused of harassment and intimidation against voters who wanted to vote for candidates of their choice, but not the candidate being pushed by the city’s Democratic Party machine.

Minority inspector Calvin Mattox previously pleaded guilty to not meeting the qualifications of election officers for living outside the district in which he was working, while Dolores Shaw, the judge of election at Poll 43-7, received an accelerated rehabilitative disposition for compromising the local election board.

So in stead of learning something from the past election, you are doubling down on socialist activists to guide America's future?

Elfie, you are one dumb ********.

Keep up the great work!

Yes... please keep swinging far far left... most moderates already are through with you dems... just run a ton of far left looneys so the rest can finally get together and back a true moderate party...

I guess no one paid attention on how ypu lost the last election... it wasn't the fanatics that bailed on your party... it was the Roseanne democrats... run some outright socialists... please do...

I can libtard with the best of them but when these idiots start talking about free/reduced housing it's maddening. Pay your ******* rent or move elsewhere.

I'll say the dumbing down of CONservative America came long, long, LONG BEFORE the Dept. Of Education came into being.

I have no negativity toward any kind of charity, religious based or otherwise. I have negativity toward confiscation of people's property to enrich politicians and special interests disguised as "charity" (you know where many of the richest counties in the country are? Right around Washington DC. That's a big *** pool of money and no it ain't all going to poor people.)

I have negativity toward generations of people having their lives devastated by dependence on government handouts, by government incentives that reward failure and punish success.

And no, I don't help through my church out of fear, I help because I like helping people. My church is just a convenient community of other good, like-minded people.who like helping people. Unlike your beloved politicians who claim to like helping people but really just like enriching themselves and their friends.

The only difference is communism takes it from those who stole it or gained it by exploiting the masses and if done correctly returns it to the masses.

Oh and BWAHAHAHAHA!!! Sorry pal but communism doesn't care how you got it, it takes from everyone equally and gives to everyone equally. That's the whole premise, isn't it? And exactly why it fails every time, because the ones who earn it get tired of being exploited to provide for the ones who don't.
