Path to playoffs..

I thought I read where the Rats are out of the playoff race
No, but the Browns were already out when they played us yesterday. QB Pornstache is having surgery on his shoulder and out next week, he doesn't GAF any more.

We ain’t finding no bridge this season
Think of the revenue generated if the Steelers make it in during Ben's last year...You never know, weirder things have happened.

I don’t think the nfl needs to generate revenue with the Steelers. The Steelers will sell even in a down non playoff year.

They need struggling fanbases. LA’s close, Las Vegas is another market

I'm hoping he plays as that increases TJ WATT's chances of setting a well deserved new NFL record.

I have the exact same thought… though hairball is almost certainly going to sell out to stop watt at all costs lol… i just don’t know if Lamar can not take some dumb sacks though… he sometimes creates them now trying to prove he is a pocket passer

The jagoffs winning is the most improbable thing. Their qb is completely and totally shell-shocked. He looks absolutely horrid. Their best bet is to be successful pounding the rock, have the defense score, have special teams score and secretly infect half of the colts with covid.

Then again the Steelers lost to the jaggoffs in their first year of expansion and went to the superbowl....

I'm sure Hairball will sell out to stop TJ WATT and his record breaking sack(s) but you dang well better think Coach Tomlin with his love of on field records (think little chest & his ******* 50yard bullshit), will scheme to get TJ his most opportunities.

So let’s pretend we are up late in this game by three or four scores with a minute left and Watt is a half sack off the record and the jags are winning … we all totally expect Watt to be kept in for a garbage time injury to damn any chance of us doing anything in the playoffs, right?

(I know I’m stating implausible things… like us having a three score lead… and tj not having multiple sacks already… and the jags winning lol)

Steelers are now 550:1 to win the Super Bowl.

As a HC, I pull him but

Tomlin keeps him in

I see us up by a two score lead and possible a garbage time third

I think you're right. Watch a play soon after Watt got his 4th sack of the game, and right after he was held and Highsmith got the sack. Steelers defense lined up three guys off the DE on the right side, including Highsmith, Spillane and a 3rd guy. That left Watt singled up on the RT ...

At which point Cleveland put their TE in motion to help double-team Watt.

If we win and Colts lose be aware of trickery with a tie in the Raiders/Chargers game so they both get in
Don’t think they’d do it but who knows

Well... we need one last thing to happen. Someone just win tonight and we made it in!

Kudos to you for never wavering, and keeping the playoffs dream alive in this thread, which you started after the Vikings game. And thanks to the Jaguars and Raiders. Never thought the Steelers could (or should) make the postseason this year after some of the worst halves of football I have ever seen them play, but here they are.

It's a different kind of feeling when they snuck in on literally the last play of the NFL season. No expectations, just looking forward to watching them play next Sunday night.

Honestly I didn't visit this thread as all that went through my mind was Jim mora's clip. I guess staying away helped avoid any jinx

Just playing with house money now. I have no expectations for the game vs Chiefs. I'm just happy for another week of Steelers football.

But you better believe I want to win!

Maybe that #1 pick (Trevor Lawrence) the JAGS got will have the game of a lifetime ???

GO TREVOR
I figured with all the hype he had coming in, he never had THAT GAME !!! Great time to show that #1 pedigree. Dude was slinging it....

I was wrong about my playoff prediction. I call myself out. Why I doubted Ben after 18 years is beyond me.
