Bingo! And add a postseason ban this year and the next two. And Goodell MUST BE FIRED!! That piece of **** allowed all of this to continue to happen. Make it the equivalent of the death penalty in college sports. I'm dead serious. Enough is enough with this bullshit! This team has been pulling this **** for almost two decades, and the league is a joke now. **** THEM!

The League isn't interested in thinking people's respect. They are interested in the sheeple's money. The League is only outraged and takes action when there is sufficient outcry from the money stream for them to do so. Don't believe me, see Rice, Ray. Reality is, its about money*. Always has been and always will be.





*I still prefer playing the conspiracy and mob theory though. Much more fun.

Enough is enough. If the ratings start dropping and the people start calling for action---perhaps we get some real action on this travesty???

I would be down with your plan except my son will be home from college for a few days. Watching the Steelers together is tradition. Hell, there was a time I rarely text'ed. Only an occasional message to my kids. When my son left for school, my texting quantities skyrocketed during games. I just can't miss a chance to watch live with him.

As for your uncle - please ask him to talk to Congress about an impeachment investigation for Kraft and Goodel. The voters want the truth.

I keep waiting for this to happen too, most NFL players spend their money within 5 years of retiring, there is a fat book deal out there for someone who spells out what they do, I don't understand why this hasn't happened yet

Very little will happen. Kraft and Belicheck will get fines. Belicheck will get a suspension but it won't be anywhere near for a full season. And, they will lose a draft pick. It will basically be just another slap on the wrist. And, nothing will come from Kraft and spagate.

Well it partially did... but as tgey began to talk, Espn did a quick expose that was absolutely filled with enough details about the cover up that Roger should have been forced to resign, only as quickly as it was out it was off the main pages and left to rot, much like their expose on major colleges basically paying a zillion stars... the trick is to head it off, minimize the impact, and then rush into another story to bury it....

I mean the pats were sending employees to steal playbooks and spy on practices... it was corporate espionage... it wasn’t figuring out a tell, it was systematic and thorough cheating, and the commish covered it up...

I'm just enough of a skeptic to think even this will happen.
 
Some talking head predicted a fine and lose a low round draft pick.
 
Yep, don't watch the games live, certainly. (A noble stand, seeing as how I am in Montana!)

I also don't give them TV ratings. If I watch a game, I catch it on a stream. (an unpaid stream).

The NFL gets no money from me directly, unless they have a hook in to this site.
 
The punishment should be what it always should have been. Ernie Adams gone. He is probably the one who sent the guy. He is certainly the one who wanted the info. Its him up in the spot where you can use the info.
 
I could probably forego watching. I did it when the Steelers hired Michael Dick. I didn't believe that I could do it at first but the thought of watching that derelict made me sick.

This. Give the "consultant" a little bit of accountability to answer for already. I wonder if the NFL even can because of some sort of loophole in his official job title.

um, no. i'm not going to rob myself of something i enjoy to virtue signal against something i have no power over, nor will i ever. boycotts are usually short-sighted and foolhardy. sorry, just my take.

and just what, pray tell, are you going to say to your uncle? you going to ask him to pull a few strings? lol, no disrepect, berm, but your uncle might as well be the janitor for congress, to think that he might be able to "make a few calls" and make some dominoes drop so that some sweeping change takes place is beyond the pale. what, you don't think members of congress are football fans, too? and that they don't also realize that belichick, adams and kraft are all full of ****? just enjoy your life and watch the games, or don't. that's all you can do.
