The hard reality is that Sid, Geno, and Letang are carrying this team. The 3rd and 4th lines need to step up. And CDS is not that good.Next year will be 19 for Sid.

Hey DJ--I realize and agree with that...The hard reality is that Sid, Geno, and Letang are carrying this team. The 3rd and 4th lines need to step up. And CDS is not that good.
Doesn't this suck?Hey DJ--I realize and agree with that...
An that's not favorable for the organization...
If Hextall and Sullivan thought they had a better younger choice in the organization...Im sure Mr. Carter would be a healthy scratch..
It could be worst...Doesn't this suck?
When they leave, we have very few guys worth keeping up the game.It could be worst...
We might not have these 3 future Hall Of Famers on the roster..
When I watch the games...They are actually all I want to see play...
Then we will find out how much of a hockey town Pittsburgh really is...When they leave, we have very few guys worth keeping up the game.
I'm still in, even from WyomingThen we will find out how much of a hockey town Pittsburgh really is...
Count me in...As a teenager I used to take a PAT Bus into town and sit in section D at the Igloo for $5 a pop and watch some pretty mediocre but entertaining teams..
That's a long way from Pittsburgh... cowboy...I'm still in, even from Wyoming
It's along way from everywhere. That's why I live here. That's a long way from Pittsburgh... cowboy...
Same here. Will always root for the Pens. People only flock to the team when they win. Then we will find out how much of a hockey town Pittsburgh really is...

I still can't believe that SLC doesn't have more pro teams. If Pittsburgh doesn’t want the Pens after the core guys retire. Albuquerque will gladly take them off your hands
Albuquerque has zero. Just the isotopes(rockies farm team for baseball)I still can't believe that SLC doesn't have more pro teams.
Youngster lol...Same here. Will always root for the Pens. People only flock to the team when they win.
I grew up with the 90’s and early 2000’s Pens who were in talks of perhaps going to KC.
They don't have any identity now.
In my opinion, Pittsburgh isn't any more of a hockey town or any less of a hockey town than any other NHL city. When the team isn't winning, or doesn't have stars, people are less prone to spend their money on the product. Then we will find out how much of a hockey town Pittsburgh really is...
Lol. Well I am one of the younger posters here.Youngster lol...
I went in mid-70's when they had The Century Line, Bob "Battleship" Kelly" Pierre LaRouche, Jimmy Rutherford, Davey Burrows, Ron Stackhouse, Rick Kehoe, Ron Shock, Dennis Heron, Greg Malone, etc...etc..
Mario Lemieux was just a twinkle in his Daddy's eyes..
As kids...We use to sneak and smoke cigarettes way up there in Section D ....And as always the best part of the game was when Harry "the Whale" would dance up and down the Igloo stairs to the trumpet playing the Gong Show tune! And then after he would dance his fat *** off and the trumpet player stopped playing, the entire crowd would yell "HARRY'S A WHALE!!"
I would go back in a minute!

Do you remember the days of guys like Rico Fata, Tomas Surovy, Koltsov and Milan Kraft? Yeah, it's gonna be like that for a little bit. Attendance around 6,500 a game. Like right before they drafted Mario.
Mario is the reason I even got into Hockey as a young lad. There was a buzz about the Pens drafting a hockey god and I tuned into WTAE to watch. I didn't understand the game at first, but i was hooked! I've been a spoiled fan and dont remember the day's of old, I hope they get their collective **** straight so we dont have to know what that was like.In my opinion, Pittsburgh isn't any more of a hockey town or any less of a hockey town than any other NHL city. It was Bobby Hull for me. Except for my dad's family and me, every one in my family was born in Chicago, for many generations on my mom's side. We were in Chicago for a bit back in the day. I remember the first time I heard of Bobby Orr, and I thought "They are saying his name wrong!"Mario is the reason I even got into Hockey as a young lad.
