I don’t know what people expect. This team is stuck. Short of trading by one of the big 3, Zucker, Rust or Rackell, they aren’t improving. You aren’t trading a scrub like Bleuger for a 30 goal scorer. All they did was get older and slower. If Hextall has a job after the season the Pens are ******. That he has a job now is bad enough.

Yeah, apparently they didn’t notice the mess Burke left in Toronto or the one Hextall left in Philly. The only hope is that they can hire someone after the season that can sort this mess out.

My theory is they knew they were going to sell the team....and just put bodies in the right places to support the sale....and then let the new owners sort it out..

I'd like to see that too but it's not that cold outside.

If the Pens do make it to the playoffs, I'd like to see a rematch against the Rags in the first round. They might stand a chance against them if healthy. They can't win in Boston, inside or out so it would probably be a quick exit.
