Penguins 22-23

I sat down in a restaurant to see the Pirates were playing the Yankees. 0-0. I talked to Mrs. Fan and looked back, it was 7-0.

You can blame me.
Yep I remember Steve Blass mentioning you were to blame for that one.

I guess I ain't allowed to use emojis here... Just imagine a big **** eating grin!

just watched the game recap.

LOL.
I think the key here as fans is to totally throw in the towel and give up on them. That's when they play their best. When they tied it up at 4 we let off the gas on that despair. They couldn't keep it going and had to win it in overtime.

The boo birds were starting to come out after the first.

Maybe that is what everyone needs to do. Boo them off the ice when they are playing bad. I know Jarry got pulled but a couple of those goals in the first weren't his fault.

They can't play this way in the playoffs obviously. Heck, they wont beat the isles tomorrow if they play bad for 40 minutes. They are playing good hockey now.

What a great comeback victory for the boys last night!

Looks like we still have a goalie problem though....
Really disappointed that Hextall didn't acquire one...
:(

Need 2 goalies in net to stop a couple of those breakaways they gave up last night. CDS filled in and made some huge saves to even give them a chance at coming back.

I agree the goaltending isn't good enough and will most likely cost them in the playoffs.

I read his post to Mrs. Fan. She laughed

Go Pens,

I'd like to find a Pittsburgh Strong tee shirt or apparel,

If you haven't yet Justin,.. make it so.

I don’t call myself a bleeding heart

But I did dedicate a home gym to those soft flightless birds. I may have sacrificed a few goats during the cup runs. Maybe a couple of homeless people

Don't go opening MTCs freezer... ;)

An Uncle took me took a Pirates game. What was before Forbes Field? Maybe it was Forbes, I cant remember. Roberto and Willie days. That too was a blast. Sometime in the 60's.

I remember he liked the Giants but also liked the Steelers. We'd go through many conversations before he passed, It was always about sports in there somewhere,

God rest all their souls.

Kool story--

Definitely Forbes Field....you would not be able to post here if it was Exposition Park. ;)

Forbes Field was built in 1909.

My first Bucco experiences were at Forbes also, where I was mesmerized as a young boy by some guy that wore number 21.

Very cool memories. My first trek to Pittsburgh was to catch a Pirates game. I think it was 89 or 90 when they had some good teams with Bonds, Bonilla, Van Slyke and crew

Walking into Three Rivers that first time and seeing that familiar immaculate green turf illuminated by the lights was like walking into a shrine. Especially after watching all the Steelers and Pirates games on TV for the previous 10+ years.

I almost made it to Three Rivers Stadium. I decided to fund a divorce instead.

Sometimes sacrifices must be made. I'm sure you're better off. 👍

So insanely, outrageously, fantastically better, that I can't describe it.
